Very cool- although I'd be inclined to bet against a full fledged reunion tour or new record, you can never tell with these two.....

"A black waiter accidentally spilled a tray of glasses on the floor. Nikki Blair, the restaurant owner, fired the man on the spot for having disturbed Mr. Sinatra. Frank, however, had other ideas. He called Blair over to the poker table, grabbed him by the shirt and asked Blair, "Nikki, how much is one of those glasses worth?" "About 5 dollars," replied Blair. Sinatra the

When you reach a certain age, Frank Sinatra's mastery of/importance to American popular music becomes undeniable. Its grownup music (hated it as a teen, like most yutes). I'm guessing at some point he must have given his old school New Jersey opinion of a certain skinny foppish english long hair prancing around in mascara and a sequined jumpsuit, which is why Mick says he hated him. When the Faces broke up in 1975 I distinctly recall Rod in the press (Creem magazine I think) saying it was because "Mac and I hate each others guts". No secret Rod tried to recruit Woody and Kenney for his solo band at the time - obviously some long term bad blood between Rod and Mac.

Not sure what's become of Terry ...who may have peaked opening for the Stones in '69- a fondness for the occasional drink may have been a prob but this guy could wail!

Kinda like McCartney and Wings, Savoy Brown in recent decades is Kim and anyone else hes hired on at the time- but the classic lineup is the one fronted by Chris Youlden with Lonesome Dave on guitar, a popular concert draw in the USA back in the day.....

Great video- thanks for posting....saw the Barbarians at the Capital Center, verging on a musical trainwreck at times but loads of fun..of course the notion Ronnie Wood is borrowing anything from Johnny Thunders is nonsense....the other way around perhaps....

Sloooow build up to about the 3:45 minute mark, then Pete taps into the other worldly. Superlatives fail....how profoundly do you have to suffer to play like this? Powerful and scary....

Agreed- Pepper is a good record but way over-rated. Revolver and Rubber Soul were better. But Pepper is better than Satanic Majesties so probably best not to throw stones...

Totally agree- a fantastic band, a national treasure with a wealth of great songs but Im hoping they stay retired from live performance. They ran out of gas 20 years ago, no need to flog it. Mission accomplished!

Im sure theres more than a few here that can relate- (Im in my mid-50's) but how well I remember sneaking downstairs around 11:30 on a Saturday night late 1960's/early 1970's , wedged up against the TV with the volume down low so my parents wouldnt bust me watching Dracula Prince of Darkness or Dracula Has Risen from The Grave, absolutely rigid with fear but unable to look away and

If youre inclined towards Barrett era Floyd or Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour Beatles, the 2 LP "Gift from A Flower to A Garden" is a must. Sums up the whole UK psych vibe as well as any record of the period. Its aged surprising well. You've got to pick up every stitch.....

1978 Roanoke Civic Center- I went with a couple other college longhairs, higher than the proverbial Georgia pine to see BB King with Bobby Blue Bland opening- to our surprise it was a 90% older black audience in formal wear (gowns, tuxedos)- one of the best shows I've ever seen and a treasured memory- peace and God bless this great American.

Charlie is by far the best drummer on this list, including John Bonham and Mitch Mitchell. But Cheap Trick is still pretty spry live in 2015- forget the crap 80's/90's stuff- check Bun E. and the boys, raucous-
