I know that Brian did a one-off with the Beatles ( You Know my Name ) and attempted to record with Hendrix ( All Along the Watchtower ), but did he ever do any other session work outside the Stones ? When he recorded the soundtrack to A Degree of Murder he used a lot of other musicians, and was wondering if he ever repaid the favor ?

Why do guys like Rundgren, David Crosby, Graham Nash , Neil Young, Springsteen insist on littering their shows with their political rants ? Does it ever occur to them that a lot of their audience could care less ? I don't know about anyone else, but I go to shows to ESCAPE politics...... give it a rest guys. The 60's are over....stick to the music and shaddap.

I agree 100 % with Mongoose's recommendations -- British Museum, Museum Pub, Covent Gardens-- I would also throw in Abbey Road studios, Westminster Abbey, a visit to Trident studios in Soho is fun, Oxford Street, and the Tower of London has always been a favorite !

This is kind of convoluted, but hope it helps somewhat: From Boston Logan airport take a bus to South Station (Bus runs every 30 minutes-a 10 minute ride ) at South station take the train to Mansfield (Mansfield-Providence train runs every hour -- about 45 min trip ) From Mansfield take taxi or uber to Foxboro ( about 10 minute ride -- 5 miles ) Have fun !

His last solo album "No Pier Pressure" and the last Beach Boys album from a few years back "That's Why God Made the Radio" were so enjoyable-- For me, ranked right up there with some of his best stuff. So, it was kind of sad to see him so detached last night in Bangor. When he was "on" he was the Brian Wilson of legend. But much of the night he was very remot

This is being billed as Brians last tour playing Pet Sounds. I know he did a PS tour a few years back, but perhaps he's hitting places he did not get to then, hence Bangor Maine. Don't get my initial post wrong: I love Brian Wilson, and it was great seeing him again. I just thought he would be more engaged with things. He had very little audience interaction, and it seemed like he was

Just came home from seeing the opening night of Brian Wilson new tour that began tonight in Bangor Maine. What can I say ? The band was spectacular, and seeing Pet Sounds performed in its entirety was a real treat. As for Brian himself ? I am kind of at a loss-- he was helped to the stage ( wearing a full leg brace) and sat at the piano all night which I am not sure he played. He took about hal

Older sister took me & a friend to see it in a theatre back in 1968 -- it was in Boston and the Theatre showing it touted 'state of the art" sound..meaning it was LOUD ! I was 11 years old.....didn't understand a bit of it, but the visuals, the soundtrack, and the ending blew my young mind !

Just finished watching the film 'Trouble No More" from DYlans latest box set of the same name..his Gospel period. All I can say is.. what a band ! He surrounded himself with some outstanding musicians, and the backing singers ( the "choir" ) were incredible. I would have loved to see a show during this time, but this is the next best thing. On some of the performances, like th

I'm 60, so I'm certainly an older Stones fan. Been watching and listening to the Stones since I was a young kid (1964 )-- Never been disappointed going to a Stones show. NO matter what the set list. Always a treat. Always a great time. Always a thrill. Of course some shows better than others, but never been let down. They're the STONES, right ?
