I'm Zack born in Texas in 2001. Been a huge Stones fan since I was 10 and I've seen them live twice, Houston 2019 and Austin 2021. I also ran a somewhat popular Rolling Stones YT channel that I started 5-6 years ago. Mick Taylor is my favorite guitarist and he, and the music of The Rolling Stones are why I picked up guitar when I was 15. Been a serious player ever since!

The mix is truly horrible but The Troggs were pretty solid and for sure took on the early punk or garage rock feel in the 70s.

QuoteHairball Steve Miller Band Shares ‘Peppa Sauce,’ an Instrumental Tribute to Jimi Hendrix Recorded on Sept. 18, 1970 – the Day Hendrix Died Steve Miller It was 50 years ago today, Sept. 18, that Jimi Hendrix passed away — one of the most talented and gifted guitarists the world has ever seen, gone at just 27 years of age. My first and probably only Stones concert and wow, im speechless! I wish I could have heard When The Whip Comes Down but oh well, Heartbreaker was still very cool. I got a bunch of pictures including quite a few of Mick and Keith when they shared the mic and sang together which was incredibly cool. Keith's playing was so incredibly good tonight it was unreal. His playing at the beginning of

It happened that Keith was playing a riff in the studio for three days straight and mumbling 'couldn't drag me awaaaaaaay'. ... Some people say it was written about a blonde I left a couple of weeks later. But it was really about Keith and his dealer. ... Ronn

QuoteErik_Snow A reminder of why we needed Sex Pistols in the 70s, even though I don't listen to Sex Pistols after growing old.....when this soundscape that "kadavar" tries to reproduce was common. Castrated depressed men with beard, lotsa volume and fuzz never turned me on. I guess i'm able to get into this kind of stuff since I listen to so much hard rock and metal by hundre

Anyone heard of Kadavar? They're a German band that has an amazing 70s sound to them and they're definitely worth checking out if you haven't heard of them. here's a link to their song Dust from their second album:

You definitely aren't the only one because I feel the same way. He's underrated and rarely shows his talent as a slide guitarist. Listen to this if you haven't, there's some great slide playing from him in this:

Always separate the artist from the music. Their personal lives don't get in the way of their music so why should I care.
