That's not counting sound checks of course. Rehearsal recordings from 2017 tour are a

The April 2013 rehearsals with Mick Taylor seemed like they were amazing based off reports. Did anyone tape anything from any of the dates? If so, then please share them! I'd love to hear them Link to reports:

I've never seen the stones perform live before and I'm really excited to hear that they might perform right here in Houston at the NRG. I've been thinking about it all day long its probably some of the best news I've ever heard because it means I'll be able to see them. I consider myself a hardcore fan so seeing them live will be a religious experience for me I'm sur

I'm pretty sure Keith plays an acoustic in open E for Prodigal Son and then switches to a resonator (which sounds quite poor imo) tuned to open C for You Gotta Move. There's photos out there of him playing both at the MSG show so i'm pretty sure that's what he did. It also just sounds like two completely different guitars.

I never listen to lyrics in music but this one from Saint Of Me gets me every time I hear since it's so fantastic. "And I do believe in miracles And I want to save my soul And I know that I'm a sinner I'm gonna die here in the cold I said yes, I said yeah" Not sure why but I REALLY love this one.

Always loved this one. The intro of Dance Little Sister is fantastic and raw. Great work on the remaster as well.

I wouldn't equal "Trabendo" with "very cool show". Musically it was more akin to hearing the engine of an abandonned truck "roaring" for the 1st time in years. Well, it certain

I believe the only tape for the Trabendo is the one that's extremely bass heavy.

It was listed that Jesse Ed Davis played on Sympathy For The Devil in this version. I can't hear him playing guitar so i'm not sure if he truly is there or not. I've seen it mentioned on another thread and it's also written in an article that he was in the horn section for that performance which i'm also not sure is true. If anyone can give any info or show some pics

QuoteHis Majesty QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Yes, the Rolling Stones bass player. It is beyond understanding to me that they have tried to erase his existence and contributions. He is not a stone alone when it comes to that. Yup. when was the last time they mentioned Mick Taylor??

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 QuoteTravelinMan Ah, the good old English language. In the US, “chord tones” and “notes of a chord” are synonymous. In the Arlen Roth video with Mick Taylor, Taylor discloses he plays lead based on the underlying harmony of the chords. Any “scale” he uses essentially come from a chord progression. Guitar tone, of course, is a whole different animal and Taylor has
