QuoteNate QuoteStonedRambler How quick do you think you have to be to get good tickets? In 2014 I wanted to get to Berlin but the server crashed and then the tickets were sold out. I am at work at some sale starts, so what can I do? Please Bjornulf and everyone else who has experience - are my worries justified? What do you recommend? I would try for the tickets you want when they go on sale if

I am so hyped for the tour but at the same time I am really afraid of not getting good tickets. In 2014 I wanted to buy tickets for Berlin but couldn't reach the server at the sale time and an hour later all good tickets were gone. Any recommendations what I can do to get the tickets I want?

Thank you all for your responses! Indeed I haven't got a super high-quality audio system with an external receiver and super-expensive speakers. I mainly listen to music on my Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro headphones and at home I have a simple Sony consumer Hi-fi system. Really nothing for audiophiles and I am not satisfied with the sound. I am mostly listen through headphones so I use it only

Hey there, Does anybody own one of the Audio Blueray's (especially intrested in Exile) and think it's far superior to the Virgin CDs? I heard Exile is a different master than the 2010 remaster with more dynamic range, so maybe its even better than the Virgin master, apart from the higher solution. I also had to buy a new blueray player which is able to connect to my PC, so that I co

Hey everybody, I'm desperately looking for the Touring Party 1972 Rattlesnake boxset at the moment. but I can't find anything either on Ebay or as a download. Does anybody has the files on his computer and could upload the boxset? That would be absolutely amazing! Stoned Rambler

Thank you for you responses! Just waiting and see what Dandelion will send me. Probably that's enough to get started. Already read of the Stones Touring Party Rattlesnake boxset in some other treads. This really seems to be the holy grail of stones 72'/'73 bootlegs, isn't it? So I have to get this soon. I also listend to some bootlegs you mentioned on youtube. Charlotte 19

Thank you Dandelion, great! Now where do I get these in the best possible quality? Sorry for the lack of knowledge, but I'm just starting with the whole bootleg thing.

I have to admit that I always prefered the post-89 stones performances. Might be because I am a bit younger than some of you and the vegas-stones (as you call it) were the stones I fell in love with some years ago. I always loved the classic albums from beggas banquet to exile but rarely listend to the 70s live performances. But now I am just discovering the '72/'73 tour which are my

Quotekeefriff99 QuoteStonedRambler It is no wishful thinking that Mick has a body of a 20 year old man. In fact he has even a better body than most 20 year old men if you take away his head! When was that taken? This year during the South America tour, don't know which concert though.

QuoteStoneage QuoteBV Mick Jagger is an example of how you may reduce your physical age a lot by a healthy diet and being fit. Physically he is in the 50's even if he is really in the 70's I would not necessarily agree with that. As you said, ageing is a real thing. Sir Michael may be very fit for his age but he's certainly not 53 anymore. I don't agree with you. I think if

QuoteIrelandCalling4 Hope to purchase either DVD or BluRay tomorrow; is the BluRay as good as people saying in this thread; some said its mono and some say stereo but overall seemingly the best bet. I exchanged my mono-blueray for a new one and it is stereo. It seems that I was the only one who received a blueray with mono audio, it must have been a problem with that particular disk. I didn'

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Can you imagine the horror of being IN the Stones, thus never able to see them live? The horror! Those poor, sad bastards. marvelous comment Yes, I also wondered this sometimes. They have more money than we all together but aren't able to see the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world at least one time.

I understand the fact that they need to shorten it for cinema. To reach a standard cinema lenght and to keep it interesting, since the whole movie probably would be boring for some folks. Also some songs did not got received that well by the audience (Tumbling Dice e.g.) as other ones. So they cut them out. BUT: I wish they could have integrated a function into the menu: "play the movie w

I have a different opinion than most of you. I think the post-2012 Sympathy versions are the best since the 70s - if Keef has a good night and plays a solid solo, which is not always the case. But if he does it's fantastic. What's really great about the post-2012 versions is how it builds up more and more over the song. It creates a magical mystic atmosphere. First you hear just the

QuoteIrix QuoteStonedRambler I also saw them in the German store, but they are different from the ones Mick wore since the tongue is blue and RED. Wasn't the tongue on Mick's shirt in Boston (25-Oct-2016) the blue&red one .... ? Thank you, you are right didn't remember it that way. Anyway, on Mick it looks beautifully, so now I'm considering to buy it. Even if I kn

@Irix I also saw them in the German store, but they are different from the ones Mick wore since the tongue is blue and RED. Don't really like it, looks a bit cheap IMHO. I think I will just contact the Bravado Store and ask which shirt I will get, and if it's the new own I will cancel the order.

QuoteLien Country Honk Thank you! Now you anticipated the best part of the film.. But it's my own fault that I clicked on the link. I just couldn't resist It's simply amazing. Didn't expect that they even played the Country Honk version, with the original Riff and words. Also cool that Keith could play the guitar and sing it at the same time. He normally can't do t

QuoteIrix I have the Deluxe Edition too (Blu-ray+DVD+2CD+Book), listened to it via Headphones and on my Blu-ray it's Stereo (48kHz/16bit), 'Paint It Black' and 'Brown Sugar' as well .... on YouTube they've a kind of Mono-Mix. Thank you Irix! That's quite strange. Just did a comparison again. On the DVD Keith is on the right and Ronnie on the left, as it should
