QuoteDoxa Quotejumpingjackflash5 They are awesome. Steve Jordan now fits much better in the sound. He is lower in the mix, and does not hit the drums that hard. "19th Nervous Breakdown" has been the biggest surprise for me in this tour. Not only that they play it rather regularly, but they play it so well with such an energy. I wish we would get a proper release of it some

QuoteMore Hot Rocks QuoteChester About 15 years ago my mother-in-law died and we inherited her car. Graeme, who lived in the same town as me, came to my house and bought it for a friend he was helping out. Kind of cool. That is kinda cool! Can still picture him in my garage. Paid $5,000 in cash for a Chevy Impala. It was for a younger girl he was with. I didn't ask.

I'd rather listen to the Dave Matthews Band. OK, maybe not Dave Matthews, but you get the idea.

Just curious: Does anyone know where the Stones stayed for the Tampa show?

Quotedaspyknows Quoteslewan Quotewaterrats Here's SSS from the pit perspective. The sound from there is an advantage, because a) you hear more of the monitoring sound for the stage (same as for the band) as against the mixed PA sound way back in the venue b) you can see Mick's reaction immediately after the first of Keith's wrong notes: he's looking back to him while

Interesting to note that Beast of Burden and Far Away Eyes were also played back-to-back in Tampa in 1994. Thought Chuck kept track of these things?

Took my wife and daughter last night to show. Great time. Surprised no one's mentioned 19th getting bumped. I was disappointed, especially since SSS was played, a song I actually like, but also one a band like the Stones should never even consider playing live. So many better choices they could pull off. 19th was has sounded so fresh with Jordan.

QuoteRocktiludrop QuoteChester These guys - the actual Rolling Stones! - just played a concert last night - which doesn't happen often in the grand scheme of things - and this thread only has six pages? There have been longer discussions about whether or not Mick wears a wig. Just thought there would be more. Was thinking the same thing, perhaps there is less discussion because there

When you can't get the name of one of the most covered songs in rock history right, your list loses all credibility. "Chuck Berry refashioned the blues into rock’n’roll, influencing countless musicians ahead of him. From coming up with the duckwalk to classics like “Johnny B. Goode” and “Move Over, Beethoven,” he was an early progenitor of rock ‘n roll, one of the Rosetta Stones.

Quoteryanpow If I'm not mistaken, Foghat interchanged "Sleazy" and "Easy" on Slow Ride, during the outro of the song. This is true. But did Foghat ever interchange "Easy and Cheesy?'' I think not.

QuoteMariuana I don't think he's gonna live there anyway. One of the articles say her parents live in that area. So that's a house for her, he might stay there for a while though but I don't see him living there. Her mother owns a home in the same county, according to property records. She probably just wanted to be closer to her.

QuoteRonnierocks I only knew a couple of songs in advance from "born to run". I was only 16 and would and see pretty much everything at that venue. When I see Bruce live now, I always think he looks better than when he played Hammersmith Odeon in 1975. He might look better now, but he damn sure doesn't play better now. That Hammersmith recording might be the best live show eve
