Quotepeter wilson Quote71Tele Sorry, but so much speculation and projection about the emotional life of someone we do not even know. I understand it's well-intentioned, but still...everyone is entitled to a private life. Very well said and totally agree While it has to be said that these boards are mostly based around speculation, it is true that things can be taken to far. I think that peo

Quote24FPS It's a niche market now. Current rock and roll has no cultural relevance, just wanna be hipsters in rumpled shirts still trying to get girls. When you see a Stones concert you're seeing music mostly made in the 60s. The equivalent would have been in the 60s listening to music made in the 1910s. I have a serious question about this: What is a hipster? Because if you want to be

QuoteKaisan Quotealieb I have a lot of "Alternative Rock" on my iPod. However, Alternative Rock happens to mean a lot of things. There was a big punk surge in the 2000s with bands like Blink 182, Third Eye Blind, Counting Crows, etc. Currently Arcade Fire, The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys are huge and well respected bands. Personally, I'm also into acts like Jake Bugg and The

Not sure if anyone's posted this, but today I stumbled upon this ABC showcase website with some clips, one of which I've never seen before. I think the second one must have been right after MF's suicide attempt

Quotetreaclefingers Quotealieb Quotetreaclefingers Quotemighty stork Quotetreaclefingers I'm from Canada, so clearly my choice has to be Celine Dion. You obviously forgot about Chilliwack Chilliwack is about an hour and 15 minutes from where I live. I actually saw them last year at a Labour Day 'concert' in the park a 5 minute walk from where I live about 18 months ago.

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Other than living in or near Toronto all my life and not seeing them live until 2003? (Head smack!) Quotealieb I regret not going to the Toronto concerts in May/June. I was finishing up my last year of high school with no job... but now I've gotten more into the Stones then I was then (I'm 18 so I feel I can be excused) and I likely won't ever get another

trying not to add speculation to speculation here, but how can some of you be so sure that she took her own life as a jab at Mick? Of course it's possible, but none of us is L'Wren and therefore none of us will ever know why she did it.

There may also be songs that are not a lyrical reminder but that are linked to a personal event for him that he may want to drop... Personally, I don't think they'd go so far as to stop wearing scarves, but who knows really?

I agree absolutely 100% ..........be well Mick.....you're in our prayers While i agree that it must be horrible for him to have to be seen like this, when you're in the spotlight like that, it's for better and for worse. QuoteStonedInTokyo Quoteandrea66 It seems he doesn't remember many things. I think it's just self protection. When he is not willing or he is bored to talk about something....he simply doesn't remember. I like that Agreed. The best example I can think of is in the film 'Being Mick' when they walk into that room packed with studio tapes from Stones sessions and then he j
