QuoteJohnnyBGoode Quotealieb As a college age female, I can say that cell phones can be very much a safety device as well/source of comfort. If I'm walking somewhere alone where I don't feel comfortable late at night, I'll keep my phone out, or sometimes phone someone, just so I'm not so alone and I feel like if something were to happen to me, someone would know right away...

Quotetatters QuoteBlueranger The Beatles has 42 million. Quite surprised that Elvis 'only' has 12 million. I'm surprised he has as many as that. I didn't realize there were so many seventy-year-olds on facebook. There aren't, but there are 12-year-olds that like to think they're as hip as 70-year-olds

Quotetreaclefingers Didn't want to start a separate Stones thread on this but I thought it was related in a way... ON the TV show "Jeopardy" last night, they had a Rolling Stones Category. The $1000 question was something like this, Multi talented musician drowns in swimming pool in 1969. This was the 'hardest' of the stones questions, and no one could answer

this looks so cool!!! I remember seeing a similar style course on Michael Jackson at Duke University and thinking how lucky people must be to be able to take something they already love talking about for credit! I'll have to see about signing up.

I must admit I giggled a little bit at that photo. Get well soon! From his facebook page "I am very sorry we had to cancel the show at Hanging Rock and disappoint so many of you that had planned to come. Thank you for all your supportive messages over the last few days, I really appreciate it."

Quotewith sssoul QuoteCrazyhorse Its on the BBC website So it is: Just read the link and in my opinion that is absolutely ridiculous, and insensitive. Mental illness is not linear. Not including it in the insurance policy is like saying "you should know that your girlfriend might commit suicide if she has depression"and I'm no insurance/legal expert but I do know people who h

I saw it, but I felt like I'd seen it before because I remember someone (on here I think) complaining about how Jann Wenner always adds himself into his pieces (i.e. "Goodnight, Jann") I thought it was clever, though.

learning/partying/staying up too late and watching t.v. shows/overeating are all interests since i am a student. In terms of actually interesting things, public speaking, playing my violin and piano(since I was 4 and 7 respectively), singing (lessons, performances, competitions), yoga, clean eating, reading music and historical fiction based novels, and of course keeping up with the social media

QuoteLieB Quotestupidguy2 Yeah, It's hilarious to see adults so offended who Mick Jagger is hanging out with..it's so... 8th grade. I've never heard a JB song, but he is a phenomenon, or was a few years ago. He absolutely has more in common with Mick than any of us. The kid achieved early fame and the road has been rough.. He seems to be learning the hard way how to handle tha

Quoteswiss Quotealieb Quoteswiss QuoteChacho I'm a little disappointed in the hypocryrtical trashing of The Biebs on this thread. <snip> Luckily Mick, and the rest of The Stones have never been close minded like that, ever. Agreed: basically my point too, in the post a couple above yours in this thread. I think it's great of Mick to acknowledge and speak to Justin Biebe

Quotemr_dja Quotetreaclefingers Quotemr_dja I never thought I'd see the day where Mick was outdone in the wardrobe department but Grazer seems to have won this round of "I can wear louder tennies than you can". QuoteAquamarine QuoteMore Hot Rocks Might be just me but I think the guy has a terrible voice. It's just you. (No it's not, it's just a different opinion. I don't see why this sounds like a Stones song, though. ) He has a distinct style. Either you like it or you don't. He is similar to Mick in that way I think.
