I was one of the people who walked by on the sidewalk (pre-planned after waiting on the other side of the street for an hour, ahah). I was literally a meter from him. Pretty cool they were still letting people just go about their business (the security did have to start moving people along once they realized who was on the other side of the posters). But I guess that's NYC. When we were o

As far as The Man From Elysian Fields goes, I'm no expert but I did quite a bit of theatre growing up, and I thought the 2 minute clip I watched on youtube (the part where they are sitting at the dinner table and he gets rejected) was pretty decent on his part. The woman in the scene with him was pretty bad in my opinion, and overall as a film though it did not do so well, hence my earlier

Quotestupidguy2 I hope its good. I liked the Help, the director's last movie, and he has a good eye for authentic period settings, and he's from the south, so it should have a sense of that time and place. But musical bios are tricky. I hope Mick has a good run with this one. If all goes well, could this be the most positive movie-related thing he's worked on since Performance?

I am going to be in NYC when the James Brown biopic has its world premiere. All the huge people involved in the film (including, of course, Mick) are going to be there, and I hadn't had anything planned that day. Could anyone who's had experience with this sort of thing tell me if there would be any point in trying to go and hang around outside to try and get a glimpse of people? I fi

QuotePlink QuoteSharksWillCry Come on, people. It's "chowder". You got to mix the clam chowder before it burns. New England accent. "Clea" as "deh". That's it! Bitch is a song about chowder that’s not properly blended and the advice offered to fix it before it burns: You got to mix the chowder You got to fix it Trust me, love It’s a bisque! Awright!

Quotestonehearted It is good to know that the person in possession of these tapes does not want to see them exploited for profit. However, there is a significant amount of fans who would treasure a copy of these, no matter how unfinished the recordings may be, as there is precious little Brian material outside the Stones in existence as it is. But if they were to be officially released, very like

Alternatively, people in Germany could download the Hola! app for Google Chrome, which changes your IP without you having to do anything manually. However, don't bother for this, because it has now been pretty well established to be fake.

QuoteSchuine Hondsbossche I'm pretty confident the Stones will open in Oslo with a 20 minute stretch of "Just wanna see his face". Only the Mickster, Charles Robert and Bill Wyman keep this thing going together with the backing vocals. Towards the end the guitar players walk on the stage with an overwhelming loud intro from "Slave" . First Keith, then Ronnie and t

Was just watching this movie for the second time today and noticed that the first scene where you see Mick's face he is painting the red wall black. PAINTing IT BLACK. I feel as though it's one of those films that reveals something new every time you watch it. Maybe once I've watched it 10 times I'll begin to understand its full metaphorical implications...the many similari

QuoteMKjan QuoteAquamarine Quotealieb It would be nice to have him do just 1 tribute song to her at the first show, with pictures of her on the big screen or something. Not that I want him to suffer in front of people That seems to be exactly what the original suggestion seemed to be after, though--exploiting his personal grief for dramatic effect, while the voyeuristic audience waits with bat
