Thrylan Dylan.....I'm a sarcastic a$$hole. I like Porters and Stouts, I smoke cigars and I smoke.........well, you get it. I argue a lot, but value the opinions of those I argue with a great deal..... Now I'm uncomfortable. Is this an AA meeting?

QuoteNaturalust Quotedonvis Just listening to this closely today. I hear 2 acoustic guitars, one in each channel. Am I mistaken? Could be one guitar track, Ronnie's 12-string. Do they both have that jangely 12-string sound? Are they playing the exact same thing? Doubling tracks with a slight delay in one speaker was/is a common studio technique to fatten up the guitar sound. You'

I think we can all agree that monetarily, both parties benefit mutually. However, the Stones are no doubt concerned to a certain extent about "artistic integrity", and rightfully so. That being said, most of the stuff we want should eventually become available. But this is the Stones.....

Not to be argumentative, but in interviews, didn't Mick and Keith contradict each of some, particularly on the extent of MT's involvement? You know how these guys can be in interviews. Get me Dom Was!!! Lol

QuoteBlueranger Quoteliddas QuoteBlueranger Quoteliddas I would have included Claudine, We had it all, Tallahassee Lassie, but I am not too sure. Re: loving cup - isn't that a mish mash of two takes? C It is, but there is no overdubs. As for alternate takes and untouched songs, Kowalski has nailed it, although Petrol Gang is also unaltered. Modern or old mish mash? C No

Let me add, being a great front man isn't all about pure vocal talent, just like guitar players, Zak Wylde can play circles around damn near anyone, but he might not be in my guitar top 10. David Lee Roth isn't a great vocalist, but he is the archetype for that style of front man. I guess they are two separate questions.

To your point, I was delighted when I heard the CYHMK alternate take, caught me off guard really. It's a very fine line. While I love SG deluxe, 3 tracks stand out, Claudine (ironically I already had it), Yellow Cab and Love You Too Much, I thought several others were "touched too much", Spare Parts and Loving Cup from Exile are examples of this. With alternative takes, you don

Absolutely!!! B2B and SW are awful, IMO. SW is nearly all Vegas, save ME,SSS and SA. And B2B is an overt attempt by Mick to take the power back, hip producers and all. You can say VL sounds dated, but B2B is the one I NEVER listen to, and SW might be the ONLY one I don't have on CD......that's a statement.

QuoteTheGreek emotional rescue should get the deluxe treatment .there should be many leftover tracks from Pathe Marconi sessions and i think from Montserate (if i am correcet about that location )and i also think they laid down tracks in Paris also Personally, this might be my greatest hope. As a youngster, I became interested in the Stones @ 1980- SSC hooked me! When I hear Love You Too Much

Quotedandelion1967 QuoteDoctorFreddie Quote1962 I really hope an early (1963-1967) outtakes, demos, covers, lives box-release! While not my first choice, I'd be very interested in outtake originals. I would prefer this to aborted cover songs. It would be interesting to hear their own growth process...... Particularly 66'-67'.

Quotepepganzo Hasn't got the ABKCO Music & Records, Inc.the rights/copyrights on Let It Bleed and BB (and the older albums)?. I think that they'll release a deluxe edition of Tattoo You or SW. But I'd like to listen to some live concerts from 1970 or 1972 in good quality not an outtakes disc with the original one. Anyway I think that their best deluxe edition is Some Gir

Would be nice withsongs as Pay your dues, Family, Hamburger to go, Highway Child and the making of Sympathy For The Devil I'm game, but it is a little early to include the regrettable omissions from SF. Frankly, there may only be 1 or 2 albums that they couldn't do this with. Personally, I actually prefer ABB to B2B, but I don't think I n
