I'm not intentionally dogging BS with Clapton, but we've likely all heard it in at least decent quality- Concerning what IS on the CD, I find CYHMK to be the gem. Personally, I got a lot more out of PMS, So Divine, Pass The Wine and others you mentioned than the known stuff. No, I don't like the modern dubs, but it feels more new to me. I would also asert that most of us can come u

It bothers me that you stated your first album(CD...lol) was Stripped, you were a preteen, and you've been a fan for years- which is true......Time Fly's!! Welcome! That first show is awesome! I got into them at the age of 9, 1980, SSC blew me away. Mom bought ER for me.....etc. Too young for 81', I had to endure the "War" as a teen- never thought I'd see them. By 19

I remember listening to Rewind on cassette when it came out, on a trip to the beach. Even then it was an odd mish mash of songs. Don't forget Video Rewind.......there's a candidate for blue ray.....

QuoteIrelandCalling4 QuoteThrylan Got the Seattle show on DVD boot- would LOVE to see that done professionally...... Star Star is hot. 'Still Life in Seattle'? I had that years ago on DVD, but I believe a better version was subsequently released (cannot recall Bootleg Label) - there are clips on YouTube, and it does look good. I also have Houston '81 on VHS, quality was okay,

And that's... OK! I can live with really digging all but 2-3 of Keith's songs! I just grew a bit weary of "Keith the Crooner", it usually works to great affect, but you can overdose on water......

Ahhhh fat thumbs and a phone....... Keith of course. Oh I'm all in, but Charlie's would be eclectic.......Mick's would be the sa.e as the warhorse set(lol, he picks it), Keith would be solid as hell and Ronnie would pick a stone gem! He's the guy on the inside who has seen it from the outside!

Quoteminimick1009 Hi again minimick1009 here the stones show was great!!! My favorite songs where Start me up and Brown sugar and it was great! Minimick1009 out. That's awesome Minimick!!! I took my son to his first show this year too. He's about twice your age, but a first timer all the same. His favorite song was Brown Sugar too! When you get older, you'll look back, and th

You know.......with sssoul is onto something. I don't think Charlie, or even Leigh is interested in writing a set list, but....... Take the State of Ohio. Cleveland Cincinnati and Columbus. If you did a warhorse show in Cincinnati, a moderate show in Columbus and a more obscure show in Cleveland, they would cover a lot of ground and likely please everyone. Could be done much like the Zip Cod

Quotewith sssoul Five shows per area (not necessarily all one city, but close enough to travel to for folks that want to) At each of four shows the set list would be chosen by a different Stone, and the fifth show would be a "warhorse show". Imagine Mick's face when he realized the first four shows were jacked with hardcore fans, and the warhorse show was luke warm and full of

I'm stuck between an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro and an Epiphone Casino or Sheraton. What would be the best. All three are beautiful sounding and looking guitars. Let the guitar pick you Ram. I'd bet one will talk to you, tell y

I think we need to separate "slow" and "ballad". Slow songs work; back to back ballads are show killers. I'm so glad I didn't get the WH/MM combo some cities were exposed to. Thankfully I've never seen WH in 6 shows. I went into MM with an open mind, and yawned. At least you can clap, or stomp your foot to YGM.......what the hell do you do during MM/WH?!? Cross

Yeah, not to get off topic, but HCIS is the worst Keith track ever. I don't understand how any Stones fan can find anything to like about it. Ballads are one thing, and this is another. So depressing that I thought he was telling us its over. Its been said MD was added to VL as to not end on a weird note. B2B ends on a worse note.

QuoteTurner68 Chuck Berry cover should definitely be considered warhorse status. There is a direct correlation to whether a Chuck Berry tune is on the setlist and the quality of the tour. if you search setlist.fm it will tell you the most played songs. according to it, they are: 1 Jumpin' Jack Flash 1112 2 Brown Sugar 1083 3 Honky Tonk Women 1051 4 Tumbling Dice 1

Right after FORTY LICKS? Well it was. Damn thing charted for quite some time. Blew my mind. Deluxe Rewind...... Deluxe Jump Back.......Deluxe Forty Licks.......Super Deluxe GRRR, (Includes a piece of the gorill

SFM most defiantly. SS would be fun. I have suggested trading within an era, Last Time for Satisfaction........ SFM for YCAGWYW......SSC for SMU........ME or FTS for YGMR.......RJ instead of ANYTHING after it. Sadly, as much as this pains me, MY has to stay and I get it. I NEVER check out the latest MY on youtube, but when I'm at the show, it's a groover, every time.
