Just love One More Shot. It makes me smile, it makes me dance and move with joy. Doom and Gloom is also a great tune. I'm really thankful they have released these two new song. Both are amazing and I can't stop listening to them. I find hilarious that some say it's a "stones by numbers"tune while others call it a "ac/dc rip off"...

Well, Hot Rocks was the very first way to get jjf in no-single format. I find it funny, you can own every Stone studio album and still don't have jjf

I love Stealing My Heart. It's a track I never get tired of. The other 3 are ok for me. I also like most of ABB

A fun exercise indeed. It makes sense to divide ABB into two separates albums since some have always complained about the lack of cohesiveness it has. I still find ABB a good listening, nonetheless. MSSR50 may be right, it's always worthy to stir things up and see what happens.

I looked it up for a Spanish translation. GRRR! means GRRR! in Spanish There you have it. I must confess, I love this title!! Absolute genius imho.

QuoteStoneage De gustibus non est disputandum. However, I like the art design. Besides the fact that it is funny, striking and very effective it conveys perceived core values (false or not) of the group such as irreverence, atavism and unpretentiousness. Tacky, it's not. If you want tackiness - take a look at "A Bigger Bang". Bad graphic design it's not. If you want bad graphi

Nice topic Comparisons are useless, but they are a lot of fun too. SG bonus is a pretty solid album in its own. I think I Love You Too Much could have been a monster hit with proper radio airplay. However, I've never had any problem with ABB. I even like Streets which seems to be the worst tune they've ever made (as far as this forum is concerned). Neo is probably the weakest song

Saw it in 1997 at Panasonic Imax Theater in Sydney. A turning point definitely. Up to that day, I was a classic rock, oldies, sixties and of course Stones fan, but that concert made me a Stones fan first and then the rest. On December that year I couldn't resist it anymore and flew to Miami to see them live. I was so thrilled that even today when people ask me how many times I've se

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 I don't like "Voodoo Lounge" too much, and I have both of these albums together at the bottom of my Stones albums. But both of them spawned many wellkown outtakes. Outtakes which could and should have made the album much better. (IMO) "What am I gonna do with your Love" "Deep Love" "Crushed Pearl" "Strictly Memphis

QuoteWeLoveToPlayTheBlues QuoteLeonidP QuoteWeLoveToPlayTheBlues ...Obviously they thought Winning Ugly would be a hit. They were ugly wrong about that. If not for Back To Zero, Winning Ugly would qualify as the worst song that I've ever heard. I agree with you mostly. It's almost non-debatable. The reason I say almost is because of Streets Of Love and to a lesser extent Sweet Neo C

Even the two songs I don't care for. Same for me. As I used to put it: Back to Zero equals Zero; Winning Ugly is Ugly. I have no problems at all with the rest of the album. Always have loved Too Ru

There are plenty of solid ballads in their latter day catalogue. Bridges' AOM, AS and Keith's are pretty good. Voodoo's Blinded by Rainbows and Thru and Thru. ABB's TPIE, BM, SOL... But for me the top of the crop is SW's Almost Hear You Sigh.

Turned the car radio on, switched channels and stopped. Those riff, that voice, that attitude, that flow, seemed familiar to me. After a few seconds, there wasn't any doubt in my mind: I was listening to the Stones on a local radio station. A song that was new to my ears. Fresh, exiting, vibrant. Irreverent. Suddenly the goosebumps appeared, a smile conquered my face, chills ran through my
