I was looking forward to this album sooooo much. I like rock music and country music (and many styles more) and I think that Dolly is among the coolest cats in the music business. I would have loved to like that album but I can´t. Impossible. A handful of versions are cool, most are not. Don´t wanna criticize her accent (I´m german...), but I hear it. Production-wise too much of most everything.

Had to watch the Barbie movie last night with my child, heard her sing, couldn‘t relate to it. Or her. Now this, Wow! I‘m glad and proud I saw him play with Moody and Murray in a club in my hometown in Bavaria. What a great player. Gotta keep my CC8 for a while - and practice. A rather disappointing gig last night, compared to the others I witnessed over the years in the same venue. Better than many other artists, but not as special as what Springsteen had delievered on former gigs there. Too many Las Vegas show elements, little conversation with the audience, "important" songs missing (Thunder Road! Spirit in the Night!). Still good, but not heart-stopping.
