I'm actually desperate to hear a good quality recording of this tour. It's so different with Steve. It makes you realise how unique Charlie Watts was. Charlie's death meant the end of the most major version of The stones.

The drummer is so important in a band. It's a different band now but still The Rolling Stones to me. Just a different version. To me, there's something good going on. To watch Keith, Ronnie, Darryl and Steve all within a radius of 5 metres really settling in on the groove of tumbling dice in Lyon was so great see and hear. Keith is on fire. Ronnie may be playing with a little less finesse but he's playing with power and passion. His solo on the bbender on tumbling in Lyon was awesome!

Yes to a live album/dvd of this tour for me!
And Yes to a new album with the new songs Charlie played on and new songs with Steve on it to cement the new version of The Rolling Stones!

What's the consensus? I'm kind of tired of live albums of recent tours as their sound hasn't changed much in decades. But would be nice for a live version of, 'Out Of Time' if nothing else...

Steve

I hope there is live release. Sixty is such a landmark.

I would like a blu-ray covering the No Filter-tour with Charlie, with lesser played songs and the best versions of warhorses. Some songs they could include:

2017:
Dancing With Mr. D
Heartbreaker
Ride 'Em On Down
Just Your Fool
Hate To See You Go

2018:
Neighbours
Shattered
Fool To Cry
The Worst
She's A Rainbow

2019:
Harlem Shuffle
Mercy Mercy
Monkey Man
Play With Fire
Sweet Virginia
Sad Sad Sad

That´s indeed a very fine selection. I just can not find the connection with the most recent "sixty" tour.

Cheers,
Fillmore

60th Anniversary would be an interesting release to hear Steve's drumming.

No Filter-tour I'm sure will get some kind of release sooner or later.

Because it is a Charlie set list. A live album with Charlie and Steve tracks mashed together would be horrible. So I hope for a Charlie album but if they release stuff with Steven, please do the whole album with him.

I also hope they release something from this tour. an album with the one offs and songs like I wanna be your man, Sad Sad sad, Let’s spend the night, Bitch, LARS, CYHMK, 19th nervous breakdown, out of time, sweet Virginia and what for me also was a highlight Ghost town and maybe the Vienna version of YCAGWYW with choir.

Exactly these are the songs I'd love to get as an official "Best of Sixty Europe Tour" album. I would add the "Tribute to Charlie-Intro" I really hope they will do it.

Charlie Watts' last show is actually an indispensable document.
