Maybe the switch is connected differently to the pickups than in regular tellies? I could imagine that it needs some fumbling to find the middle position of the three way switch in order to make both pickups sound. With KRs hands especially, if I may say that. I paid around 500 Euros for a pit ticket in the Waldbühne Berlin in 2017 - and never regretted it. Covid doesn´t make clubshows more attractive for me, but that would be the price range for a ticket in a small venue. Back to Alice Cooper: I only saw him once, opening for Mötley Crüe on their last farewell tour. He blew them out of the venue. The sound, the passion, the show (although I think the female guitar player overacted a bit), everything. Supercool! The Crüe couldnt do any other than s*ck after that .
