QuoteTKinOH You should go, I've been doing it for years! The only shows I regret are the ones I didn't get to... I just did a 12-hr return drive Monday from the show in Minneapolis, to Troy, Ohio where I live... solo... maybe it's an Ohio thing!! Haha! I'm taking my 18-yr old daughter to the Detroit show, it'll be her third Stones gig after Columbus 2015 and Phi

So here’s the problem I have. I want to go to the Detroit show. I live about 3 hours away in Ohio, and I’m pretty sure this is the last time (?) the Stones will be playing near me. I had tickets for Cleveland, but that didn’t work out. I would like to take my 10 year old son with me, as paint it black is his favorite song. Also, how many people in his generation will be able to say they saw

DMB still played a full show last night at the Gorge, and will do so tonight and tomorrow as well. They had a replacement bassist, and DMB's keyboard player Buddy Strong filled in on drums for some of the show. Dave and longtime guitarist Tim Reynolds opened the show with an extended acoustic set, which they've been doing as a side-gig for a long time. Fans who were there said it was

QuoteDGA35 It seems all of these current KISS shows are outdoor amphitheatres. Might be difficult to reschedule some shows if it gets into late October/November. I see their Australia tour has now been rescheduled for Spring 2022. 1. KISS have had to postpone so many outdoor shows at this point that they are going to have to wait until next summer to reschedule them. They’ve already got US d

QuoteTopi Would agree that COVID is the biggest elephant in the room re: ticket sales this time. A lot of people might still just be holding out. Guilty! I had tickets for Louisville and Cleveland... we know how that went! I'm gonna hit up either Pittsburgh or Detroit. But I'm going to wait until closer to the date to buy tickets for an event that I'm not convinced is going

Quotelem motlow A friend sent me pictures of Guns n Roses at the Banc of California stadium from Thursday nights show, huge stadium crowd. Mostly shots of the band but the few that showed the audience it didn’t look like many had Kotex’s stuck to their face. Let’s face it, a lot of these bands that canceled aren’t selling tickets.it may be that the virus scared people off or it’s the econom

QuoteBeforeTheyMakeMeRun I'm not much of a fan of Garth, but this seems like the smart thing to do. Having said that, I'll be amazed if the Stones (or most any other major act) don't at least postpone their dates. Postpone to when? To a time when Covid doesn't exist? Good luck with that. This is our new normal. There won't come a magical time in the summer of 2022

Garth Brooks audience are unlikely to easily go along with the new concert protocols. The Rolling Stones audience are much more likely to agree to things like mandatory vaccination/negative tests, and masks. I don’t agree with postponing to 2022, because there’s no reason to believe we won’t be in the same situation or worse next summer. Covid is here to stay. Please e either find a way to mak

Why does anybody believe that 2022 is going to be any better? There will be another variant. There will be more deaths. There will still be plenty of people who won't get the vaccine. We have to either figure out how to live with this virus and let life continue, or we accept a life of restrictions, lockdowns and cancellations as the new normal.

Don't book anything that can't be refunded or rescheduled. I have very little faith that these shows will happen. I had tickets to Cleveland and Louisville, and now my backup is either Pittsburgh or Detroit. But I won't be buying tickets until much closer to the date.

Why do people think that the Covid situation in the USA is going to be any better next year than it is now.Am I correct in thinking everyone in the states has been offered the vaccine if so then not many of those who declined it are likely to take it next year either. Quotebam Let's hope the tour happens. And we can get back to arguing with people who are mistaken and don’t see that “Miss You” has been horribly overplayed. Seriously. If Mick isn't going to fully commit to the "WHATSAMATTA WIT CHOO BOOOOOY?" line, there's no point in even playing the song.

QuoteWoz I think the Stones should tour. If they are all vaccinated and manage their backstage scene (as they always do) I don't see any risk to the band members. As to the audience? If you don't get vaccinated and you get sick that's on you. At this point there is a solution and if you are not willing to be part of it, well that's your problem. I'm seeing as much music a

I'm excited!! Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite movie. Last Crusade is near the top of that list as well. Temple of Doom and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are good, not great, both with some problems. In my opinion, Crystal Skull gets too much shit, and Temple of Doom doesn't get enough. I don't really care about how old Harrison is. He's roughly the same age as

QuoteMisterDDDD Starting to see things pick up a bit in terms of concert scheduling for this summer. Good sign. James Taylor & Jackson Browne reschedule their US tour for this summer Last January, James Taylor and Jackson Browne announced a joint U.S. tour to take place in May of 2020. Of course, it had to be canceled due to COVID-19, so it was postponed to May of this year. However

QuoteNate Please can anyone here explain the logic behind a large scale event of people who have been vaccinated and are then required to wear masks. Nate Because society has a boner for masks now, and it will be a long time before anybody thinks it's "Safe" to have an event without masks. Not arguing against the effects of masks, I wear one when it's necessary. But
