Ripthisjoint908, I love it! Very stonesy sound!
Thank you! Like I said, I will post the full album here soon. Also, next month will post July tour dates. Hitting the States for 16 days this summer to support the record! Forum: Tell Me
Me and my boys. Four 20 year olds from Flint, MI. Would appreciate it if ya took a listen. Will post the full album this week when its up but heres a few tunes. Forum: Tell Me
Can anybody list or link me the full sessionography for Dock of the Bay? I'm assuming that behind Otis is Booker T and his boys. Who all played on this record? Forum: Tell Me
The Byrds-Sweetheart of the Rodeo (Gram's Version)
This album is perfection in its released form, but this is the version I've been listening to lately. Gram was forbidden to sing lead on certain tunes upon release because of contractual reasons. This version has him singing lead on three extra tunes and its GOLD.

I'm going with Marty Stuart and Vince Gill.
And don't forget Rodney Crowell. Not only did he play in Emmylou's Hot Band but he can write some pretty good songs, too.
Crowell is a fantastic songwriter. One of my favorites and the Hot Band wouldn't have been the same without him. He wrote this tune that ended up on Emmylou's "Luxury Liner" albu Forum: Tell Me
Found this last night...Albert has always been one of the best, but who was playing this kind of country guitar as well as he was at this time? check at the 2:30 mark till the end. The Hot Band as a whole always seems overlooked. Emmylou had one of the tightest bands around. these cats were GOOD.

Going to give Ryan Adams a try. What album should I start with?
Love Is Hell (part 1 and Part 2) although I believe they were eventually re-released together. Or Strangers Almanac from his early band Whiskeytown
Love Is Hell (full album) is his best release but its not a start in my mind. Its the most off record of his. Nothing else in his canon sounds like that Forum: Tell Me
An example from the Revolver sessions of how off tune they could be. Granted they were high as hell. But especially when they sing "wear you downnnn." Forum: Tell Me
There is a YouTube channel with 10 videos, all very informative in regards to the recording and arranging of Pet Sounds. Its calledBehind the Sounds Forum: Tell Me
This may the worst mix I have ever heard ever. And the editing is done poorly as well. Pretty much restating exactly what you said thijs but I had to let it out. Forum: Tell Me
Yes but, the difference between MT and the other guests is, MT helped CREATE a lot of the songs in the set. He is legendary and was once part of the Rolling Stones. The other guests are there for entertainment and/or to sell more tix. Taylor wrote half the guitar lines that Ron Wood is playing! He deserves a few more songs. He deserves a little more time on stage that Gwen Stefani. Forum: Tell Me
I'm a big Ryan Adams fan. Good thread. His album Gold is great, any album by Whiskytown, and his EP witht he Cardinals "Follow the Lights" is a near perfect release. Forum: Tell Me
Or that one weird move he always does where he plays a chord, takes both hands off as if he's trying to pose like a chalk outline at a crime scene.
Had a good laugh at this one! Forum: Tell Me
Incredibly difficult.
