Exile is about 66 minutes. Can we call any CD over that length a double album? Now I think about (and indeed now I've checked) was Bigger Bang a double album?

Time out of Mind and Tempest were pretty damn good for recent albums.

I've often wondered that myself, although Exile is 67 minutes long, the other ones are far longer than the average single vinyl album.

Voodoo Lounge is 62 minutes and was a vinyl double album.

Bridges To Babylon is 62 minutes aand was released as a vinyl double album.

Well, technically GRRR doesn't apply since its original status is a 3 disc album. Forty Licks was a double though.

Rattle and Hum is packed with great songs.
Love rescue me, all i want is you, angel of harlem, desire,...
I never understood the poor reviews.

Eggzactly, and don't forget the incredibly powerful When Love Comes To Town w/ those awesome BB vocals! I also love many others: Hawkmoon, God Part II, All I Want Is You. I thought they lost it w/ Unforgettable Fire & Joshua Tree and this album brought me back (but then they lost me again w/ that Pop shite).

THE BEATLES would've made a great single album if they'd cut some of the excessive meandering tracks off.
