Quotedrewmaster QuoteSilver Dagger Quotedrewmaster QuoteSilver Dagger Love the line "feel the hot cum dripping on your thighs from it" I've always heard Mick's vocal as "feel the outcome" ... perhaps he cleaned things up a bit? Drew Same meaning. Heh heh! Prefer the dirty version which I think is correct. Dirty works for me Mike, but isn't "outco

Quoteexilestones Quoterogerriffin These were cool to collect. They were readily available but now they'd be considered rare. I thought everyone remember this 1994 Virgin Collector's Editions. I asked Dimitri, "You know those Stones CDs in the over-sized jewel cases?" He said, "No." I thought for a moment, "These 1994 Virgin Collector's Edition

QuoteMel Belli Quotekeefriffhards Quotewith sssoul It resonates with me as a title for a Keith album - some hearts see things a little differently, and are a bit quirky and different themselves yeah i hear that. its making sense to me now. i have always thought of Keith's songs that way. sometimes at first i don't see it (hear it) but then, over time, it gets into you. its like a

QuoteHairball I predict! ... No disco. No rap. No politics. No lead singer from India. No horrible "contemporary" production. No nonsense. Haha, true, and funny too!

Quoteyeababyyea QuoteLeonidP No contest for me ... back in '89, when members of Guns 'n Roses joined them for a song. The main reason was that they finally played Stray Cat Blues live again! Salt Of The Earth it was actually, and I enjoyed it much more when they played it live in 2003 without Axl Rose. Yes, of course, Salt Of The Earth ... I was on the same album at least!!

QuoteHappy24 Quoteash Paul's voice is really poor compared to even 20 years ago. His voice is not what it was 20 years ago, but I would not call it poor by any means. Agreed!

Quotekowalski QuoteLeonidP Quoteflacnvinyl I tried listening to this again. Can't do it. Bob Clearmountain has lost his magic touch. This thing is muddy and compressed beyond enjoyment. I have deleted the MP3s and will wait for the vinyl pressing. Here's hoping they fix the mix before pressing the vinyl. From what I understand, the resurgence of vinyl is just a record company gim

QuoteNaturalust QuoteLeonidP In the past: "hey, did you hear the new Stones album, it's great" In the present: "hey, did you see how the new Stones album looks in Pro Tools? Horrible!" Ha! That is a great observation and well fit for a New York Magazine cartoon! I would completely agree with you but my sensitive ears actually do sense a huge difference in brickwal

Quotebitusa2012 I received my first copy of Exile as vinyl of course, as a gift bought back from the UK to Perth about 2 months after its release. But about 2 weeks before its release in Australia! I went to my parents friends house (they bought it back for me) and before going home, gave it a spin on their really nice Pye (!) Stereogram. I had not read any reviews. This is after living

LOL, I guess. That stuff is all mostly an easy money maker for them, i.e. they make millions more and continue with resting on their laurels ... I would give most of those back for a legit studio album or two. Still, I do enjoy and listen to all of them!

QuoteThrylan I include Ya-Yas, to make it a big 5..... Exile Bleed Ya Has Sticky Beggars 1-5 separated by a thin blond hair. In the other thread, I rate Exile as the top ... but mainly because it's so unique and a 'flawless' double album. Still, any of the top 4 could qualify as their best -- all of them are amazing. I was such a great creative time period.

QuoteTurner68 i don't think he is lying at all. i think he believes he came up with one of the riffs. i think we don't know what really happened... Eggzactly! No one knows for sure as we have conflicting info. So for evidence from there, one would use knowledge of other songs we do know about. Is JJF in the same vein as Satisfaction or Street Fighting Man, or to some stretch, Honky Tonk

QuoteTurner68 I agree, Let it Loose is not filler. It would be the best, or second best, cut on many of their other albums. Certainly, the album has no fillers. Songs like Casino Boogie or Just Wanna See His Face are just as critical to Exile as songs like Tumbling Dice or Rocks Off.
