Hi all! Yesterday I finally decided to redo my Japanese 72 Custom Tele RI to a set up that resembles Keith's. From what I´ve gathered in the Ratbag thread (thanks, all) I should go for a original Wide Range Humbucker and a SD Antiquity bridge pickup with staggered poles. However, there are a few things I wondered about: * The click-less Les Paul switch/pickup-selector - does anybody have

Read a while back that Anita designed some T shirts that were sold in a shop in Soho, London. Does anybody have any details on this? Are they still available? Best, RB

Tried to search for it, but does anybody know where that "Stones places in London" map went? I think it was from Google Earth or something. I´m going to London soon, and hope to make it a real Stones trip for once. Best, RB

QuoteJumpinJeppeFlashAnyone know where i can find tabs of all down the line like Keef is playing it? You might wanna look up the Exile TAB book, its easily available. Probably from Amazon.com. I have it, and unlike the "Alfred" versions of Let it Bleed and Beggars, it´s very accurate. RB

Yeah its great. In look and style its very close to the "Stratocaster Chronicles" also by Tom Wheeler, so if you have that one you´ll like it. "The Soul of Tone" is naturally more technical with details about tube types and circuits, still without becoming "Electronics 101". Have not finished it cover to cover yet, and don´t know about your level of tech-knowledge so

If you buy a guitar from abroad, the shops usually have a web-price without VAT (value added tax) since (Norwegian) customs add that afterwards. So you don't have to worry about paying tax twice In Norway the tax is 25%. So you pay about 100 euro pr guitar (still using Ishibashi Telecaster prices as an example). Not that much in other words. Not trying to endorse that Japanese shop he

While obviously not a US shop, Ishibashi in Japan has some really fortunate prices too. I ordered a Telecaster Custom 72 reissue from their webshop last month. It cost about 4700 NOK (580 euro) including tax and shipping. It took three days from Tokyo to Oslo Airport and then four days from Oslo Airport to my doorstep (an hour away) which says everything about service in Japan vs Norway. Anywa

Went down to the Stones hotel yesterday. It was really nice weather (as today), relaxed people, not chaotic at all. Blondie came and went, as did the female entourage of the band. Was a bit confused by one of the women actually. Is Patti joining Keith here in Oslo too? I'm thinking of a tall, pretty blond - 50 maybe - with more cheekbone than Jo. She traveled with a PA and a young girl of m

Btw, Looking at a Fender Twin-Amp on Fenders own pages (http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=8140500000), the 12" speakers are displayed differently than Keith's. Nice info Liddas. I'm extremely tempted to buy A MasterBlaster myself, now at least we know it adds the creamy richness By the way, the Fulltone TTE, which songs does Keith use it? If I understand it correctly its "just" a delay - does it do anything else? Please explain, you great ones. RB.
