Great Exile research! Went to Marrakesh last month and inspired by the Cecil Beaton images in "ON CAMERA, off guard" I visited the Es Saadi hotel that the Stones lived at in 1967. Didn´t have the originals with be so they don´t match completely, but I guess you can spot the places in my cubistic image Es Saadi today is still somewhat upscale, but in a "older glory" way.
