Don't think Bill Wyman will play bass. Don't think they will do a search for Tetsu Yamauchi down in Japan. I guess it could be someone like Glen Matlock or John Taylor playing bass then. If it ever happens... N

The biggest rip off Jagger/Richards did, was stealing the hookline from "The Last Time" from The Staple Singers' "Maybe The Last Time". But this is abkco sueing here, not Jagger/Richards or the Stones camp. N

I'm still confused about the Fort Collins date. July 19, 1975 or as discussed in a recent thread, July 20? N

Checked my longer version of the song again. Cleo Laine sings in the first part and introduces all three drummers in her lyrics. They are CW, Jack Parnell and Kenny Claire (not Clarke). N

Mick plays a nice harmonica on this instrumental version of WH. Totally new version, most probably from some rehearsal or backstage warm-up Scorsese was allowed to film. N

The DVD was released in the US on Tuesday as it seems. Anyone here already found a copy? What's the Stones content? I'm more than curious. N

For me this does not sound like a fake at all! This is pure late 70's Stones-in-studio sound. Jagger, guitars and everything sound absolutely authentic to me. Those kind of songs with a riff and some ad libbed vocals of which we have plenty on all those Paris Results-albums and stuff. There are dreadful fakes around like "Angel Baby", "Restless Child" and some m

Saw their reunion concert in Berlin in 1996 and loved it. Steve Jones is a guitar hero. And he was a much better guitarist then, than in 1977. The show lasted about 90 minutes and had all from Bollocks in, some single B-sides and a cover version of The Monkeys' Stepping Stone. During the secong encore (No Fun) Lydon was hit by a bottle and left the stage. That was fun! N

The other two "new" songs on his best-of are said to be the Lennon-produced Too Many Cooks and Checkin' Up On My Baby (w. The Red Devils). N
