Charlie's brilliant in this one ! What an expression! It's obviously taken from the front row of the tongue pit.

She certainly looks after Grampy. Outside said hotel, a few professional autograph hunters & journos tried to talk to her and she either ignored them or told them to bolt. Nope I agree she certainly isn't shy. She's clearly a huge fan of the band, whether Grandad's a member or not. Just imagine your Grandad being a Rolling Stone!

Quotechris girard Is that Charlie's grand-daughter in the T-shirt. She always has a stones tattoo on her arm but you never see her face. Crawdaddy ? Will you tell him or will I ? She was on view everywhere on the European Tour, always by Grampy's side. She might as well have been employed as I door steward at their hotel in Oslo where she stood on the hotel steps, chain smoking for

Latvian, Even better than your last lot and they were good! I know you're in the travel business but you could do yourself a nice sideline as a photographer! You CAN compete, with the riders in the other heat Regards, Gregor

Any IORRians present at this show ? It's always been a curiosity of mine. I've heard they played about 30 songs and there was a huge delay, not hitting the stage until nearly midnight (they had to wake up Keith?). Any photos, audio or video or even the setlist ? I've been to Knebworth - to me it's a shambolic venue and I truly shudder to imagine what it must have been li

It should be remembered that Keith's drugs issues were probably at their worst around this time. The Toronto bust took place a mere 6 months later. A couple of months before this show he famously fell asleep on stage in Germany somewhere (Essen?) whilst playing 'Fool to Cry', then their current single. Delays to showtime were frequent in this era ! Also around the same time

Crikey, That was good!!!! So they CAN still pull it off with the rareties when they want to! However, as the majority of any Stones Crowd are one-timers they have to play the warhorses as gems like this are lost on them and we have to accept that. Thanks very much for that Cristiano

Brilliant Pictures as usual, LatvianinExile. As the only fan I met at all 3 of my European shows I had a strong feeling you would be there. You always seem to secure a good viewing spot for sure! I noticed you made front row in Oslo and I remember your photos from that show being very good. Well done you and much appreciated, Gregor

Dearie dear ! Sounds very like the 81/82 version. Just imagine the outrage if it was played like this now! I had the privilege of seeing them play this from the front row of the podium at the end of the catwalk in Oslo and I thought it was magnificent.

Quotebitusa2012 Quotegrzegorz67 Quotebitusa2012 It's him Is he a known public figure in Australia or can he be anonymous there ? No, he's well known but his space would be respected in the crowd That's good that people are so civilised. He's a very controversial figure here in the UK to say the least and has upset a few people in his time. I personally cannot stand him

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteLieB It is a little bisarre that they decided to "tour a live album", especially since the live album was so unsignificant with no new songs or anything. I mean, they certainly didn't do a "Ya Ya's" tour, or a "Love You Live" tour, or call the 1982 tour the "Still Life" tour. There's a first time for everything,

Like most live albums, the song order bears no resemblance to an actual gig (as someone said previously) and they are usually laden with overdubs and polished up a lot. I personally prefer to hear it for real, warts, bum notes and all. Still, this ones always a pleasant listen for me.

QuoteDandelionPowderman According to Blue Lena the tracks are taken from these shows: - Amsterdam Arena, Holland - River Plate Buenos Aires, Argentina - Zepplinfield Nuremberg, Germany - TWA Dome St. Louis, Missouri - MTV's Live At The 10 Spot. Wow, you truly are a font of knowledge DP! The St Louis show was used for the live Video/DVD of the tour so I guessed a lot of tracks f

I agree with DP - great souvenir of the great BtB tour, of which I saw 5 shows, in 5 countries. Saint of Me and Out of Control were definite highlights. I'm pretty sure some of the shows I attended featured in the album. I'm fairly sure 'The Last Time' was from Paris. Mick addressing the Chorzow crowd in Polish follwed by screams is also in there. Anyone have a song by s

Quotecrawdaddy I was hoping it would be my local music pub. The Grey Horse, Kingston. The only trouble is, the tickets would be 50 grand each I suppose I could just head along the M4 from Swindon and listen outside I seem to remember a few years ago Chris Jagger played a pub in the London area and he was joined onstage by none other than his big brother !

Quotecrawdaddy Anyone seen Charlotte, Charlies' grand daughter around town or the hotel area ? She was always around on the Europe tour. Could usually see her having a ciggy outside the hotel. QuoteBeast I hear she was around at rehearsals. I'm not suprised. In the run up to the Oslo show, she was pretty much a permanent fixture outside Grampy's Hotel, chain smok

Great report Bjornulf. Your account of events really brings it to life. Just 15 fans then ? At the full rehearsal at the Telenor I think it could have been around 30-40. I'm REALLY getting withdrawal symptoms now so I'm perhaps a bit mental myself Hope you're all enjoying yourselves down under

Oooooh, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms DP... Any European IORRers made the trip down under (other than Bjornulf who is clearly there) ? I'd imagine some who booked for the original dates can't return due to a shortage of leave from work, extra costs etc.

I was in Chorzow in 1998 and it was a fantastic show. However, I don't know what's now happening with the Slaski Stadium, since Euro 2012 it seems to have been abandoned and forgotten... I had
