QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteHMS Do something in honor of the Dirty-Work-album. Of course! One hit to the body Brilliant work on this btw Bard! I listened to your version of LSTNT right through twice - enjoyed it a lot! If you do manage to do a live gig in the London area I am definitely interested.

Don't think there are many IORRians at this one. The only ones I know of are Bjornulf (obviously!) and Latvianinexile. I suppose it's not so easy to get to.

These pictures really are terrific and take us there. I'm excited from afar! I know I'm going to get next to no sleep tonight but hey, stuff it, you only live once That reminds me - time to stick an extra beer in the fridge I notice that the "New Stage" looks remarkably like the one they used in 2014 & 15 with a colourful lick of paint added .

LatvianinExile, Brilliant photos as usual. You really know how to 'take us there'. I'm aware you're in the travel industry and it shows If I'm not mistaken, Picture 3 of your 5 seems to show tickets still available in all sections ? I wouldn't touch that bootleg merch - it will disintegrate in your washing machine...

Quotecrawdaddy To be honest Gregor, the sound that Saturday afternoon was excellent all the way round Telenor Arena. I walked all the way round and if anything, it was slightly better at other end of Arena from where they all drove in and out. I remember it all so well as I bumped into Chuck and his wife soon after leaving you near The Stones hotel. We also saw Mick Taylor having a stroll as

Only 6 hours to go until the band hit the stage. The crowds must be building up outside by now

The Soup Dragons - I'm free (to do what I want any old time), a hit single in 1990. Decent version too imho and played in the style of their time. This band came from my birth town of Bellshill, near Glasgow

Quote1962 QuoteMacLaurens Has it ever happened that the setlist has been leaked out before the concert? I don't know, but several times they rehearsed the song vote winner song in the stadum soundcheck before the concert. They rehearsed the song vote winner in Paris 2014 (Bitch), with thousands of fans listening outside. 2 days before Oslo 2014, they performed a full show rehearsal be

Interesting floor configuration - 1. Very small VIP Section 2. Passagway for Security 3. Larger 'Golden Circle' 4. Reduced GA Perhaps a sign of things to come ? But not for Argentina where the whole floor is GA with no FoS! Nowhere else in the World still does that for Stones gigs. The last time they had GA on the floor at a UK stadium show was Edinburgh '99. I w

Quoteclapton71 I''m sure Charlie Watts daughter will be on Periscope show footage. I think you'll find it's his Granddaughter She seems to be part of the backroom crew nowadays doing twitter, a bit of organising etc.

You were moving around a lot Bjornulf so if you did block anyone it wasn't any inidividual for very long. At least you (and we) got some great photos out of it Are there many other non-local fans there today ?

QuoteMisterDDDD Opening night! Have a great time everyone. Thanks in advance to the scopers, photogs and commenters helping those of us not there get as close as we can! Seconded. For we fans, all is well in the World when the Stones are on tour, even if we're not there ourselves... My guess is that tonight's audience will be very excitable as is the norm in SA

Given that it's their 1st South American visit in 10 years I guess a sizeable queue has built up already with people camping out overnight to stake a place. I usually do the camp out all day thing nowadays. I don't mind it at all - it's fun I've only ever done 1 overnight - Hyde Park 1 and I still only made 5th or 6th row...

Quotecrawdaddy Can anyone recognise someone in the video..............apart from The Stones ? I think I just might Tony. I've definitely met him somewhere before It's mostly a good view of the back of his head. Crikey I wish I was there. Instead I'm stuck in a chilly office in Swindon

Quotegotdablouse Quotewith sssoul Sweet - thanks Cristiano! Does the text explain what Keith is distressed about in that one shot? That picture ? Seems to me he's smiling ? Well Bill B. is at least. Now that's what I call a 'lived in' face. Somehow, he just carries it off brilliantly as only he can and looks magnificent. No hair dye, wig or plastic surgery needed o

QuoteLoose Mick has got such fantastic hair in the video. I know some claim it is a wig but it clearly isn't... just wish I knew the secret. Agreed! And what about Ronnie ? His hair's like a carpet, it's so thick. When you see old photos of Ronnie during his time with the Faces, he's instantly recognisable. He's pretty much had the same hairstyle throughout

Quotecrawdaddy How I mis-calculated that I don't know. Well if it's a roughly 1 a.m. start for it here in Spain , I might just watch the reviews coming in at show time for the first few songs. An added bonus will be if periscope is up and working by some fans. Gotta remember how to do it and think it was on the twitter site if I remember. Will do a trial run on it tonight

Quotecrawdaddy I think I'm right in saying if the gig starts about 9 p.m. it will be 2 a.m. in western Europe and 1 a.m. in U.K. I will probably get up about 7 a.m. Thursday morning here in Spain, and start from page 1 and slowly make my way through the reviews and pics etc. I envy all of you there , but I will be over in Rio from Feb 11th and looking forward to my 4 gigs in Brasil.

Me too It sure beats being in front of a Computer Screen in Swindon... I've done 3 "1st night of the Tour" gigs in my life. It's always great to see the band but for me there's a special extra excitement about the opening show. It's probably the build up in the days leading up. I did the 1st night of Licks 2002/3 in Boston, Show 1 of 50 and Counting and Show

Well user PTownshend has posted rather extensively on this thread To me, there's a calm matter-of-factness about his posting style which is quite convincing so I'd say it probably is him. If you use the Search Tool you can see all his posts. He's posted 70-80 times.

Quotecrawdaddy Quotegeordiestone Does anyone know or can confirm that Pete Townsend comments here now and then? Haven't heard from him on here for a while.............but then again not much going on with The Who until the gig at The O2 next month. I'm about 90% sure it is the real Pete. I am too. The gig's actually at Wembley Arena and I'm keen to go as I've got
