QuoteNate Why is the stage so high at the La Plata concerts? Thanks Nate I said that on the thread for show 1. It certainly is high, but not quite like Abu Dhabi or Werchter in 2014. The explanation offered I.e. Problems at past gigs is probably the reason here. The height of their stage & catwalk certainly varies a lot.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteStoneage This song is a KD Lang steal. "Constant Craving", a great song by the way, is the model for the steal. Fortunatelly Sir Michael and Keith acknowledged this in hindsight and Lang was credited as a songwriter. However the original, Constant Craving, is the real deal and "ASMB" the poor imitation. It was Keith, and the legend said that he

QuoteBig Al QuoteKoen Almost as confusing as Great Britain, UK, etc Great Britain is an island, consisting of three counties: England, Scotland and Wales. When combining this island with the other British Isles island - the island of Ireland -, it becomes the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Southern Ireland, as you should know, is independent from the United Kingdom. The

Quotebartfrombrussels ok, the best shows where the rain shows, Paris 2 in 1990, Paris 1 in 1995, Rotterdam 2 1995, Den Haag in 1998. I was at Den Haag in 1998. Never to be forgotten. Rain in a big muddy field is much worse than rain in a stadium with flooring! Ah the Malieveld,...

QuoteGlimmerGirl24 QuoteEJM Do the stones members usually stay in 2 different hotels ? Reports say Mick is in a separate hotel to the rest of the band .... It doesn't happen very often. The last time I remember it was Vegas with some in the MGM and others at Mandalay Bay. In Oslo, the 4 core stones were in either 3 or 4 different hotels. But at least we got to see backing band members + M

The stage looks a lot higher than it was in Chile. Even the catwalk looks well above head height!

Quotecrawdaddy So it should be a midnight start in Western Europe and 11 p.m. in U.K. and Ireland ? That's not too bad and will stay up for first half of the gig. Hope periscope will be active as it was great for what I saw in Santiago. >< I think it's 1am and 12pm respectively Tony. I checked earlier and it appears thar Chile & Argentina are in the same time zone.

Have a blast everyone there! Argentina is the only place on the planet where the whole floor is GA with no FoS and given the excitable crowd do take care.

QuoteManofwealthandtaste Thanks, Latvianexile, more stunning pictures. The quality of those and of bv's and Hendrik's are quite superb! This in spades. They're even better than on previous tours. Much appreciated by me. Good range too. Bjornulf on Ronnie's side and Latvianinexile on Keith's it would appear.

Mick has always openly admitted that he didn't write Ruby Tuesday and as previously said the most common story is it was Keith's in its entirety, inspired by Linda Keith. He does love the song though and given that he & Keith seem to be close again hopefully it will get an outing on this tour at some point. Personally I was bowled over by their performance of it at HP2 - I thought i

Quotetomy1 "I agree with you about the seats on the floor I don't know why they do it I suppose there is a reason but I can't see the point." Does anyone remember The WHO concert back in the early 90's where several people were trampled to death rushing the stage when the doors opened during a "festival" seating show! I think this changed the way US shows are

Quotejazzbass I was fortunate enough to catch them in '89 and a few times in the 90s and 2000s. I obviously much preferred their time with John Entwistle, but they still deliver the passion and the fury nonetheless. Pino Palladino does a fine job but I think we'd all prefer them with the Ox/Thunderfingers on bass. However, since 2002 we've not had the choice. Still, like you

With my no 1 band otherwise engaged, I've just scored an excellent late seat for the Who gig at Wembley Arena, London in 9 days time. I saw them for the 1st time last March at the O2 and was very taken with them. I've really grown to love this band as many Stones fans do and I regret not seeing them before (I'm 48). It's seats only, including on the floor but I can't wait

I could have easily gone if I wanted and I did some research but too much going on at work. I'm hoping for some shows closer to home (UK) later in the year Will happily travel anywhere in the UK or Europe. I did the 1st 2 nights of the Licks Tour in 2002. Seeing those wild crowds and the band's form, I'm regretting not going now But following it all on here is fun.

For non periscopers, this very crude mobile phone footage has popped up on YouTube already. It covers the 1st 5 songs - up to OOC. It certainly captures the spirit of the occasion. The band sound amazing. How the hell do they do it. Mick's voice still had so much power. When I 1st saw them, in 1990, people thought I was mad to go and see a bunch of old men play. I think they'll just
