Well...I just attended Lindsey Buckingham's show in Milwaukee (10/17). Awesome. The venue was the very intimate Pabst Theater....and we were in the 5th row center. His guitar playing is incredible. He did about 7-8 Fleetwood Mac tunes (Second Hand News / I'm So Afraid / World Turning / Bleed to Love Her / Go Your Own Way etc...) his early solo "hits" (Go Insane / Trouble)

Seems the DVD will simply be Rio & Austin. Here's what CL said in a recent diary entry.... Chuck said: "No need to rush to the gig, so I took the regular van again. Mick and I had already written the set list because of the filming. Still, we went over it one last time making a slight change to put in Bitch in place of Midnight Rambler. I think we put together a nice set that w

Don't forget the MFSL versions of Hot Rocks & early releases etc... and you can make distictions between the SACD Hybrids and the non-SACD releases. And the BIGGER BANG CD/DVD set which includes 2 bonus tracks (on the DVD).

oh yeah...i forgot about Collectables (from the Flashpoint package)...and I own it. Are fan club releases considered OFFICIAL? Afterall...they need the band's permission...right? Maybe not I don't know. Re: Lazy-Slob "Do I miss anything? Remember, I'm only interested in what is avaliable on CD." Are you interested in official CD-singles w/bonus tracks etc..

Re: REWIND It was my first CD purchase back in '85...I think. Then it went OUT OF PRINT and was in demand on eBay. I thought they reissued it when the reissued MADE IN THE SHADE and STILL LIFE etc.... not 100% certain. No longer in high demand on eBay so you might be able to pick it up cheap. Did you ever notice that the fade outs were clipped off of all the songs on the Rewind CD?

Doesn't matter to me if the stadium is full or not. If I'm going to a stadium show I need to be on the field level. it's becoming tougher to justify a $90 ticket to sit/stand hundreds of yards away. Obviously there's a prestige thing for the band to be one of the few acts that can still fill a stadium. The true test of a band's superstardom would be filling stadiu

To quote Charlie Watts: "I don't know..." Actually, it seems to me that you have all of the official releases except for their Christmas album. Just kidding.

Interesting. Mick was born to be the lead singer of the ROLLING STONES. As a cultural icon Mick is one of the BIGGEST!! No doubt. And even with all of the b*tt kissers & "yes" men he's been surrounded by for the last 45 years, he still seems somewhat down to earth (see documentary BEING MICK). However, sometimes I do think Mick gets himself in over his head when it com

Does Mick still do the "Steve McQueen" line when they do "Star Star"? Does he change the name to a current celeb? I think they played it on the 40 licks tour (might be on 40 FLicks)....I'd have to double check that. And I think we all remember that Mick wimped out on the Ed Sullivan show when he changed "Let's Spend the Night..." to "Let's Sp

That's interesting about "Salt" & "Sympathy"...how could I have missed that "Kennedys" line being dropped. Obviously these were deliberate changes. (I just listened to "Sympathy" fom the Philadephia '99 NS Tour. The "Kennedys" line was there.....but I think it came later than the studio recording...also it almost seemed like Mic

Do the Stones get along with Bill these days? When Bill retired I remember seeing an interview w/Mick...just sort of shrugged it off and said that playing bass for the Rolling Stones was "really not very difficult". Basically saying that Bill was easily replaceable. Bill wasn't exactly "Mr. Personality"....in interviews he always seemed to be a bit nasty. And don'

ok...back to SHE WAS HOT......Woody should get a bendy guitar like the one he used in the '83 music video....even if it doesn't work. Charlie did some nice acting in that video in the OFF THE HOOK part at the end. Anyway...I was at the Chicago show and I thought She Was Hot was a gas gas gas.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Mick & Keith work together like Lennon and McCartney, My understanding is that Lennon & McCartney worked almost completely independently of each other and performed their own songs on Beatles albums. On the other hand...I am of the understanding that Keith and Mick do much more collaborating and writing in the studio together...more
