Mick (having gone to the London School of Economics) knows darn well why the stadiums aren't selling...high ticket prices and over saturation. Obviously, as fans, it's a catch-22.....we want to see our band. But we can only afford so many shows at those prices....and touring every year or every other year eliminates the crazy anticipation that sells out stadium shows.

Did the click-track start (for the Stones) with the Steel Wheels tour? Have they used a pre-recorded cow bell for the Honky Tonk Woman intro? Seems to me that they have... Also....please expand on exactly what the click-track is....is it actually music? a drum beat? or actual clicking sound to the tempo of the song. Please clarify. thanks.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the youth on this board. Now some of the other threads make more sense. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised...there were two 8 year olds behind me...screaming their lungs out at the recent Chicago Soldier Field show.

when i was about 10 i remember my mother saying she'd never allow a Rolling Stones record in her house. i got hooked when i heard SHATTERED in mid '70s. I was about 12. It wasn't long after that...that my mother was buying me Stones records for Christmas etc... She still calls me on the phone to let me know when the Stones appear on tv etc... She's as old as Mick Still

I've always suspected that sort of Hi-Jinx. Makes me wonder if all the gals in the crowd that lift their shirts (see various concert DVDs) during HONKY TONK WOMAN are put there by the production team. And what about that couple on the front of the NO SECURITY cd? Probably not legit either.....and if they are models...seems the Stones can't make up their minds. Is their idea

We've heard how energetic and awesome the Beacon shows were. Can someone that attended a Beacon show and also went to a 40 Licks Club/Theater show compare them? Re: Sicilian's dream...........maybe like they did for 40 licks....arena and small venue in each city. No stadiums. (??) More likely than ONLY small theaters.

Does anybody think it's funny the way Mick does "high fives" (slaps hands) when he's going out to the B-stage. i admit i"m being very picky but it always makes me laugh. one of my favorite moves is when he sticks the microphone down the front of his pants so that he can clap. genius! you can come up with your own name for that one. Best during '81 tour?

I bought them for $10 at an area shoe store. Of course i wish I'd bought every box. (bought them in '90 before eBay). I still have a lot of Stones collectibles. I'd love to read what you hav

Did THE EAGLES pioneer the first concert ticket over $100(face value)? I know the Stones charge $450 for prime seats...what are some of the other big names asking? U2? The Eagles? Paul McCartney? etc... are the Stones truly the highest? Is it some sort of competition among the elite rockers as to which band can get away with the highest price ticket...and still sellout the venue?
