His moves to day are lame compared to the power and sex he used to put out. In L&G he is the coolest thing I have ever seen. That bumping he does..

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

I am fond of the move I like to call the "epileptic delight"

.........in fairness not even he can compare favourably today to the frontman he was when he was in his 20's and 30's.........having said that..........who's better than him today?

hello CindyC! Have you posted your review of BeACON 2 yet?

Yes...that's what we call it too...sometimes SEIZURE for short...especially during OUT OF CONTROL.

I can't help but laugh out loud when he does those contrived moves...or when Mick tries to finish a song in a particular pose. It's LOL funny! And to think he has a choeographer help him. wow.

I loved when they joked about it on the Simpsons...good to see Mick has a sense of humor. I was really impressed by Mick in BEING MICK. Unlike many rock stars he didn't seem to take himself too seriously. On the other hand...I completely understand the necessity to keep a ROCK & ROLL MYSTIQUE. Image sells as many cds as music. well...almost winking smiley

Anyway...my favorite Mick moves...THE ONES THAT COME NATURALLY!

There's a whole library of moves he does during rambler:

The crab walk
The Shoulder Shuffle
The Walk-Don't-Walk
and the
Double-take head-fake Betty Boop Lip Loop with the eye-poppin' hush-your-mouth finish

I'm a big fan of the thing he does during Start Me Up - pointing his finger in sync with the lyrics, I don't know why, but it always seemed bad ass.

Others:

- The "Flick." - You can see him doing this during Gimme Shelter on the BTB DVD. He does this in some other things as well. I like this.

- The "Flapjack." - Both arms extended out from his side, and then he flips both of them so his palms are usually up.

I hate to admit it, but I am an expert in the art of "Jaggercising" to songs in my dorm room on saturday mornings. When I turned 20 I did a 10 song set in my room as Mick. It's a good workout

Not sure if any of the posts describe this one, but I always liked the "running in place" move that surfaced on the 81 tour.

i'm a big fan of the "short-circuiting robot" - viewable during the first 15 seconds or so of Flip the Switch on the BTB DVD.

you can't catch me!

Does anybody think it's funny the way Mick does "high fives" (slaps hands) when he's going out to the B-stage. i admit i"m being very picky but it always makes me laugh.

one of my favorite moves is when he sticks the microphone down the front of his pants so that he can clap. genius! you can come up with your own name for that one. Best during '81 tour?
