Quoteironbelly QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteIrix QuoteJfk19562003 Damn, too bad they don’t ship out of Japan. Try a proxy buyer service like e.g. - (recommended by Tower Records). Are there proxy services for all countries? Looking for something exclusive to UK. Those Japanese proxy services are for all countries. They are based in Japan. I do not believe there is something exclusive for U

But considering the fees & taxes, it's probably not cheaper than eBay. Thanks Irix! I now have a German-only item I'd like to try and again in additi

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteVoodooLounge13 This is one of those albums that I've never really understood all the praise heaped upon it....... You're truly absolutely missing out. You don't get DSOTM? It's theeee most brilliant album in rock music ever made - better than any Led Zep or AC/DC or Stones or Beatles etc album. It's the sound, a soundscape, of humans

Received 2 of the 3 vinyl singles/magazines today! Orange and White. Still awaiting the Black vinyl. Magazine looks great - amazing photo of Mick on the cover. Always amazed how all things from the same shipper don't show up at the same time.

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteVoodooLounge13 I prefer The Wall. And it's honestly the only Floyd I need. All that you say RollingFreak is what I feel about The Wall. Everyone in unison. DSOTM is just a dud for me, as is quite a bit of Floyd. They have some very good albums - The Final Cut, Division Bell, Momentary, first 1/2 of Piper, Saucerful - but nothing comes close to The Wall for me. On

QuoteGasLightStreet Very long story short, going by memory, U2 was hoping for Phillips, the CD inventor (?) to foot the bill for a giant video screen for 1992-93 ZOOTV tours. No. U2 worked around it elsewise and include a B-stage at some point. 1994... The Rolling Stones have a video screen on stage similar to what U2 was hoping to do... and a rolling B-stage. 1997 (I do not recall if

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteVoodooLounge13 Quotetreaclefingers How about having seats onstage, so the fans can actually be onstage with them? And if anyone leaves their seats Keith is allowed to chase them and swing his guitar at them. Did you skip the ABB tour entirely?????? I actually won a pair of onstage tickets. Wow! Very cool! How was that experience?

What made me such a big fan WAS the spectacle in a stadium. On the Bridges tour, which for me, is the coolest stage ever - with that bridge that came out of nowhere!!!! The fireworks. The pyro and real flames on SFTD both of which are now gone and dampen the song IMHO. I've enjoyed some of the videos playing in the background over the years - the Licks girl comes to mind, as well as Don&

I hear ya treacle. Was trying to not order anything for awhile. Still trying to pay off my over indulgence on Black Friday. But these Japanese exclusive items have a way of selling out incredibly fast. After I missed out on my remaining Ward releases a couple years back I said no more. Though I did miss out on the Carnaby Brussels and 2 BS singles. Didn’t even know about them til it was too late.

QuoteRollingFreak Rumors claiming Duff McKagen filling in for Cliff. Who knows if thats BS or not. Seems convenient because of the Axl fill in that the rumor could have legs because of the obvious connection the two bands already have. Isn't GNR on tour still thru the summer? Thought I'd received an email some time ago about new dates.

QuoteTopi Bands with that kind of longevity change lineups. It happens. AC/DC is just as much Brian+Angus as the Stones are Mick+Keith. Really though, that quip about changing bassists was just a joke on my part. I wonder if folks would still consider it The Stones with Mick and Ronnie.....that's the equivalent of Brian and Angus. And I didn't recall Mark Evans having been with

Quotegirl2003 In 1965 Frankie Farian & die Schatten did "Ein Herz aus Stein", the German "Heart of Stone" version. (one very early Jagger/Richards composition/Rolling Stones song... for all you Milli Vanilli afficionados here.) It was the b-side to "Yakety Yak". In the mid sixties the band played lots of concerts (mostly for US-American GI-clubs) in the South

QuoteTopi Bassists are like underwear. Need to change every once in a while. Cliff has been with the band the whole time. Pretty crappy time to now swap out another. And if Phil's out, what do you have Brian and Angus? I guess that's basically what the Stones are these days, too, except Brian isn't original, so then they really aren't much different than the aforementione

QuoteBowieStone QuoteVoodooLounge13 Is it bad that I still own, and listen with some irregular regularity, my Milli Vanilli CD's?!?!!?!? Man, that was some classic 90's pop!!! Whomever they were!!! I’m in your corner. I still even play the “The Real Milli Vanilli” album. Not sure I know about this real Milli Vanilli album. Will have to seek out that one now! Thanks.
