Hey Nashvilleblues, I'm heading out on Thursday to Ft Worth, wish me luck, I will give you a review of the Friday night show. If you hear anything about any postponement, please post, but I'm sure I will hear about it. Cheers!

Happened to me 2020 Baltimore. Damn tough luck man, kinda sucks. I'm flying out from Boston next week for the Ft Worth shows, crossing my fingers! I was only an hour into a 4 1/2 hour drive. No

QuoteHairball Nice work Mr. Jimi. In my neck of the woods in the greater SoCal/Los Angeles area between '73-'77, Led Zeppelin were indeed far more popular and superior than the Rolling Stones. I'd even give Led Zeppelin the advantage in 1971 due to the dominating Led Zeppelin IV - Stairway to Heaven must have been played 24/7 on radio stations everywhere. In the big pictur

Dear powers at be: can we get some interesting album art instead of a diamond stones tongue shattering . . . Love the tongue logo but kinda boring and unimaginative at this point, just sayin. Really just looking forward to new music from our beloved band.

I love the winos, saw them twice in boston. In 1988 and this show! I often wonder when keith was contemplating the group sound, rythmn and lead guitar attack, Did he ever think of perhaps bringing in Mick Tayolr instead of waddy. Wonder if it crossed his mind or perhaps the lineup organically developed. Anyone have any insight into his vision of the band's sound?

Quoteshawnriffhard1 QuoteMizzAmandaJonez My bad… they played “Space” and “Drums” both nights Yes, they play drums and space every show, but they are unique, free form pieces. More like jazz, improv explorations that sometimes elevate into mystical, magical moments and sometimes (most times?) are just opportunities to re-pack your pipe or a bathroom break before the the next tune. To me, the phy

QuoteChristiaan Out take album and all I see or almost all, are songs already released on several bonus disks going with the several re-releases. So those songs can’t benamen outtakes anymore. For a wish list for an outtake album I would like to think on songs like: @#$%& Blues ehh Shool Boys Blues, but we all know the real name Travelin’ Man Blood Red Wine And there are lots of ot

QuoteDoxa Hmm.. No matter how much I have personally loved the bonus tracks over the years, I think the Stones/UMG sort of screwed up the potentiality of these old out-takes by making them nothing but tools to sell the reissues a bit better. With that concept by being 'bonus tracks' the tunes were doomed. Since getting only a die-hard fan interest they were fated to be pretty marginal.

QuoteHairball In the absence of the "new" album, this fantasy topic helps to fill the massive void. There's so many variables, and to make it even more convoluted, perhaps we could include some of Keith and Mick's solo material. Lots of great tunes to choose from Keith's Crosseyed Heart, and then there's some of Micks random solo tunes in recent years...Gotta Getta

Ok, this is just fantasy, and if someone is confused by the subject line, I can always change it. What if Mick decided not to put out the old songs with new vocals, etc on the re-issues of Exile, Goats Head, Some girls, and Tatoo You? I know Exile reissue with the "new" songs came out before 2012. With this in mind, what if Mick decided to do a new album in the same vein as Tato

I have seen them 4 times in the past. I'm done. I went to those past shows for some fun, which I had, no complaints except for the tempos of the songs. They play too slowly for me. I always felt the Grateful Dead were a rocking band, to me at least, and this incarnation is a bit boring for me.

Wow. Never knew this. Always thought it was just that 1975 show. Gotta love the 70s. Interesting that I always thought something was off about the music at the end of that documentary which I have seen a few times just thought it was the mix or even some kind of over dub from another show or something, but now lo and behold it's f'ing eric clapton. Bravo!
