I collect these. They're called urban vinyl toys. Different artists put out limited edition plastic (vinyl) "dolls". They are highly collectable. Bearbrick is one of the more popular ones. The shape always stays the same (in this case, a bear), and comes in different sizes. 2.5 inches, 10 inches and 25 inches. Qees and Dunnys are two other popular ones. Some of the art on

Little Feat is an incredibly underrated band. One of the best of the southern rock variety, and a stellar live band. Do yourself a favor and pick up "Waiting For Columbus". Little Feat at their live peak.

From last weekend's Saturday Night Live. It's the third time they've performed this sketch over the years. I think it's hysterical. I figured some of you would appreciate it.

I can definitely understand the Phish "goofy" comment. If I didn't know better, I would think of them as the band on trampolines with a drummer in a dress who plays the vacuum who sings songs about dungeons and dragons . . . BUT They kick total ass. Live, they are unsurpassed. If you care enough to, download a live show from livephish.com or itunes. If you want more guidance,

One of the greatest and most significant bands in the last decade. Great in the studio, terrific live, experimental, groundbreaking. Really can't say enough about them. Everyone on this board should buy Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. It is one of the greatest of all time. Then move on to the rest of their catalog. You might also want to download a copy of the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot demos. Some

John Lennon once said that if the Beatles had continued to record music they would have eventually ended up sounding like E.L.O. (Electric Light Orchestra). I believe that, seeing as how the surviving Beatles asked Jeff Lynne to produce the two Anthology tracks (Free As A Bird & Real Love) instead of George Martin. Also George Harrison played in the Traveling Wilburys with Lynne.
