A very good, but not great, Stones album. Just like Voodoo Lounge and Bridges to Babylon, only with slightly better songs and a little more consistancy. I don't think you can characterize this album as anything more than that.

I was at the Milwaukee show, and I gotta say...while it was good, it wasn't GREAT, and, yeah, it did feel like the encore could have used "Midnight Rambler" prior to "Satisfaction" just to push 'em over that two-hour mark. Even with only that one more song, the show would have felt more complete. Some things people aren't mentioning....the shows on the 197

Besides also adding Neil & the Who, you have to add in Springsteen as well. The man's body of work has been nothing short of amazing, and he is arguably the best songwriter of the last thirty years. And in concert with the E Street Band, his energy is incomparable. Every band -- including the Stones -- should take a tip from his setlists: change 'em every night, play three hours
