Quotebob r WTF was that commercial all about...? So sick of Springsteen trying to be the voice and soul of America..... man what a bore. Selling jeeps now..... The guy is from the Jersey shore and he was trying to look like Clint Eastwood.. Also someone ought to tell him that new Marine haircut looks like crap. Do what you do best, play rock n roll music. Leave the rest to Woody Guthrie.

Beyond prices...HOW will shows work? If say 25% of people refuse vaccinations and we are dealing with at best 95% efficacy rate; somewhere around 30%+ of any audience will be able to be infected at any point. It seems hard to imagine shoulder to shoulder gigs (clubs/theaters) happening with around 1/3 of the crowd susceptible to infection and 1/20 not knowing that they are susceptible (but

Perhaps Woody means he did not like the Wall Of Sound approach to production...a reasonable position.

I am sure there are many opinions...but he was a big influence on the music we love. Seemingly he died of COVID. Phil Spector dead: Music producer behind The Wall Of Sound reportedly dies 'from Covid' at 81 (Daily Mirror UK)

Is this when BV allows politics on the board? It gets hard to know when it is ok. Seemingly, Maradona's death is the appropriate time. It is sad to see people here supporting General Videla and the Dirty War side of politics. Maybe Rega was more your cup of tea.

I did not care for Patti Smith bringing him out to play guitar. Lenny Kaye is your guitarist...why would you have some movie actor share his part of the stage? That concert convinced me Patti REALLY wanted to be accepted by Hollywood and was not quite the confident outsider some (me) may have believed.

They did a cover of Dylan's Go 'Way Little Boy with Ronnie on guitar (maybe), you may remember them for Petty's cover Ways To Be Wicked (no Ronnie). Anyone else enjoyed Maria McKee's vocals? She got into some weaker stuff (Days Of Thunder Soundtrack) later, but LJ had a few good moments.

I don't know much about his personality, I just never cared for his music. I'll take the Troggs over anything Crosby played on...although I must admit, I thought it pretty neat when I saw the surprise Byrds reunion at the Fred Walecki Benefit.

Mick shooting up through the floor was kinda cool. The cage was weird (saw it in Oakland and Sacramento 1st show...gone by 2nd) but after it went away and became a topic of discussion, I was glad to have seen it. I think it only lasted around 6 shows...it was not a good idea...maybe it is the '76 penis reinvented two decades later. I remember when I first saw it I thought of the 2 f

Why is this thread here? BV has made it clear that speaking out against hatred will never be tolerated on this site. It is the one rule that makes me feel a bit sleazy coming here.

Should be a new Stones song: Moves Like Bridges QuoteHairball QuoteRockman Mick should spike his hair white and cut a version of Alicia Bridges -- I Love The Nightlife ..... Jeez...while I do like some vintage disco, this is one tune that turned my stomach in every way - from the freaky looking lady to her weird animal-like vocals I recall seeing the video on some pop music television

I used to have a poster of Mick wearing this t-shirt (Funky Butt was a joint in New Orleans); anyone have it? Poster was black & white...Mick seemed to have a cucumber stuffed down his pants...but it looked great. Circa '76-'78 I'm guessing.

Tone & Space...what else is there? Tone is everything...but Space gives mood. There was some good disco...there is some good pop...but stay away from sugar.

More than most, fewer than a few. A lot. To be fair, some people sit in the nose bleeds and count watching the screens. If Mick ain't drippin' sweat on you, you ain't there. If there is anything other than a barrier in front of you, you ain't there (except for Shepherds Bush, wasn't on the rail for that one but I'm gonna count it anyway). Who is stil

The Utrecht (Vredenburgh) shirt is unwearably unattractive, but I love having it. Shepherds Bush is awesome; but of course nobody has any idea what it is when it is worn. Staples Halloween might be my favorite one ever, with the fangs and the worn look. 1989 with the big tongue has really grown on me; I like that one a lot. Netherlands 2003 (orange tongues) is a great shirt and stands

Geez...I do not remember. I THINK that IORR switched to a new format and the history was all erased (circa 2004)...and I had to pick a new name. Since my old one was the most perfect one possible, I decided to throw it back in the hat and take a generic.

I do think people mentioned some great scores under the "soundtracks" thread...but they might as well have mentioned their favorite food or car or color...since the answer was something other than a soundtrack.

I think the OP thought it strange people kept putting things scores and live music events in the "what is your favorite soundtrack" thread and started this one asking for more bad answers. Sadly, getting on topic answers to any thread is generally a futile pursuit.

Perhaps that many have been sold through current day. You know, old tickets being re-sold on Ebay, etc. If you add those in & cover band/tribute band sales...well, it's still a stretch.
