That's so funny! I'm in the exact same boat. I'm not much of a TV watcher so I missed the show years ago when it came out but now have completed watching seasons 1 and 2 and it's got to be one of the funniest, laught out loud, shows ever. Just starting season 3.

That was truely enjoyable, thank you for posting! I saw the Beach Boys 50th reunion and as good as that was Brian with Al Jardine and Dave Marks and his band sound like a much better prospect. And maybe even Jeff Beck!

Someone brought up this show over in Tell Me so I was just wondering if there has been any news on the Brixton Show audio or video, figured I'd bump this one up so it doesn't get lost below all the 50 and counting shows.

Jsst watched again for the umpteenth time and stil had me and the missus dancing in the house singing along for every word. I will never complain about so coalled warhourses. They killed it, every seconond of it and I hope it comes out on DVD because it puts everything in the last decade to shame. Shine a Light doesn't come close. A biggest bang 4 dvd has sat on the shelf for 5 years. T

I don't know about their best performance ever but it sure is dame good. I dl'd the recording and have been listening to it quite a bit. There are a few sloppy moments but that's what it's all about, a live performance and this one kicks ass! Love the fact that someone recorded it and shared it for everyone to hear, best thing I've heard from them in a while, just lo

This is such a great show! I don't watch the DVD often but it's one of my favourite audio boots from that era.

Quoteflashhh I think the RO performance was crap. Jaggers voice is old and he cant do justice to such a great song. Frankly, it baffles me that so many people think they sound so good, especially people who, like me, have seen them many times going back to the early 70s. Will no one admit that KR and RW simply dont play as well as they used to? That Jagger looks silly and sounds even worse? Wha

There is that point during the Taylor solo where Mick, Keith and Ronnie are all just watching Taylor and Charlie's got this smile on his face like they know there knocking it out of the park. Gave me chills watching it!

Didn't really move me..When I want to listen to some real rock and roll I put on the Diamond Dogs or Quireboys. 2 bands you should really check out. Any of Izzy Stradlins solo albums are also worth a listen especially with the Ju Ju Hounds

Thanks for the link! I'm a bit of a Bowie obsessive and I was worried but I listened twice and I really like it. Got into to it quicker than I thought I would, can't wait for the release.

It's an extension made with Audacity, something I made for myself a while ago and thought I'd share.

Here is an extended mix of Everything's Turning to gold. I always wished it was 10 minutes long. See if you like it. Hope it works, never used Depositfiles before.

QuoteRollingFreak Quotebitusa2012 I will say, it probably started to sink in most when I wasn't watching the video. The song on its own is alot better than the weirdness of the video. I enjoy both now, but at first I definitely think it was the video that didn't help me get into it. Once I got around to it, I actually got really excited for the new album (initially when I heard of Bo

Quotedeardoctor anybody, who loves the TIN MACHINE era as I do? Most fans hate it... I happen to like Tin Macine very much but it's a hit or miss affair, the songs that are good are really good, the songs that are bad are pretty bad. I've got some live shows from them where half the concert is awesome then the drummer sings and it is aweful.

I was at Shea in 89 and remember getting bored in the middle of it. I saw 2 shows in 94, Giants stadium and Oakland Halloween, neither of them reallly moved me. Those stadium spectulars just don't do it for me. I tried once more for B2B and then gave up seeing them live in concert after that.

Love this song, always have. Not crazy about the live versions though. I don't know the story behind the song too well, someone once told me it was written by Mick and he was referring to Keith in the song. As in since Keith was his partner but then got all strung out on drugs and Mick missed him. I don't know if that's true but I think about it when listening to the song.
