Saw the new band many many times here in NYC, there were kinda just a local band and they rocked! There also appeared to be a lot of joy on stage, they looked happy to be playing together. I was sad to hear of Sammy and Steve leaving but the band I saw at the Bowery Ballroom with Early Slick was pretty good too but it wasn't the same.

Have you Seen Your Mother Baby. I know it was done in the 60's but bring it back, Mick did a killer job with it on his Webster Hall show from 1993

ER was the first and I just loved that poster that came with it, TY and a German boxset with all the early albums. I loved that boxset, I got it at a thrift store, not in the best shape but very cool

Just like it is hard to imagine a world without the Stones it will be difficult to imaginge a wold without AC/DC. For a certain generation of us they were always there, my first album was Highway to Hell and even though I wasn't a fanatic and didn't buy all there records I did have quite a few and have always enjoyed them. Good luck to Malcom, here's to a strong and speedy reco

I saw Dave at BB Kings in NYC before the stroke and he was just awesome then, even doing Father Christmas in the middle of the summer! I saw Ray performing with Yo La Tengo and it ranks as one of the best shows I've ever seen so I'm ready and have been waiting for the reunion for ever. I hope it happens, and I will definately go.

Jazzfest is so much more than just the concert at the racetrack, it's a 2 week long party where every day and every turn there is something happenining. There is music in the clubs, on the streets and even in the river. I was there about 10 years ago and besides the "Jazzfest Concert" I saw the Funky Meters play on a riverboat. It's an experiance everyone should try to

I love all the Rolling stones albums, even certain parts of DW I find enjoyable, the only exception is SW, I just can't listen to that one and I try every year to get into it but it just doesn't do anything for me.

Lydon will do whatever he wants to do and he will do it under his terms and his way. A true punk till the end.

So many! But one of my first was buying the ER album as a kid and getting the great poster that came with it and just staring at it for hours while listening to that album.

QuoteThe Sicilian Does anyone consider Metallic K.O. a good listen? That depends on what your interpertation of "a good listen" is. I grew up on it so to me it is essential, I know every note and broken bottle on the album.

The crowds seem to love it and woo woo's throughout the entire song. Personally I say either drop it or make it dirty and evil. It's been just a rythmic workout for the boys since 89. The version from Hyde Park 69 is 18 minutes long with real drummers doing the intro. That's cool. I really can't stand the pre-recorded intro.

There is a run of albums from Sally Can't Dance through Street Hassle excluding MMM that is just sensational. I've always loved these albums, especially Street Hassle. For me it just doesn't get much better in his career. The Blue Mask is very good but New Sensations and Mistrial I don't like at all. I rarely listen to The Bells or Growing up in Public, perhaps I shoul

QuoteJMARKO So, this isn't the tracks from the 12" edited together, this is a re-mix of those tracks mashed together? This is the tracks from the 12" record, dance extended mix, main vocal remix and Arthur Baker Dub mix, and they are edited together to make a almost seamless listening experiance. I tried the same thing with Dance, it didn't come out as good, these just
