Maybe Mick Jagger will take a look this time. After all, it is written by a real journalist, not just a fan. I agree 102%.

It Won't Take Long - it grooves along very naturally. Unlike some other songs, which have a more constructed, "crafted" feeling and which are somewhat laborious to listen to (like Saint Of Me, eg).

I am not really a fan. I just have some money to spend on a concert ticket. I want to hear Brown Sugar and You Can't Always Get What You Want.

Independent of what is usual in the theatre or rock business - imagine someone asks Mick Jagger later: "So, what have you done in the 90s/00s?" "I sang Satisfaction for about 351 times ... Ok, it was boring, but we thought we should be crowd-pleasing." "Because you ran out of money?" "Not really. But our new album sold only 2 million copies, so we thought th

Not to forget about Brian Jones' production Joujouka (on which he doesn't play, as far as I know). But - hands up, who has listened to it twice in a row? And here is the explanation why Mick Jagger never sang a text of Brian's: (THANK YOU) For Being There?? 1. As each sharp outline Melts and weaves And undulates in time With the compulsive Rhythmic insistence Of e

> My opinion: Crank up the guitars and hammer at least one > dirty blues song at every show into that sitting/bored crowd. > Every Stones show is a history lesson: ´"That´s our music, > that´s where we come from, eat it!" Right. > Again I have to mention it. > This is the BIGGER BANG tour.....instead of playing 6 tunes each gig they seem to play 3 > new

ok, so then it was the other way round I think I read it in David Dalton's book "The first 20 years", there an interview with KR with some guitar magazine has been reprinted.

I've read somewhere that KR has learned to play slide during the Beggars' Banquet sessions (and that he wears his bottleneck on the third finger, and BJ wore it on the fourth). In my opinion, "A Degree of Murder" didn't win anything because of the weak acting abilities of this girl, Anita Pallenberg. The film music is so-so. The film is by far not as exciting as it

> dump jumping jack flash they would play it nonetheless (as Dumping Jack Flash) and whom I really can't understand are all these setlist whiners (please let me listen to Brown Sugar again and again and again, please don't dump it, be it because of some King Kong video or whatever, or at least give me Satisfaction, this is my absolute favourite since I was three)

Dump Midnight Rambler, Miss You, Honky Tonk Women, Sympathy For The Devil, Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, You Can't Always Get What You Want, You Can't Always Get What You Want, You Can't Always Get What You Want and Satisfaction. Suffices to keep Jumping Jack Flash. That gives plenty of free slots to be filled with new songs from ABB. Such as It Won't Take Long, Neo Con,

Love is Strong, isn't this Brown Sugar in slowmo? And where is Let Me Down Slow? Where is It Won't Take Long? Where is their first smash hit off ABB, aka Streets Of Love? Where is She Saw Me Coming? Where is Biggest Mistake? Where is Dangerous Beauty? Where is Laugh, I Nearly Died? Where is Sweet Neo Con? Where is Look What The Cat Dragged In? Where is Driving Too Fast? Ah so,

This is not the ABB tour. This is the You Can't Always Get New Songs tour, because all these people want to hear Brown Sugar and Great Balls Of Fire. Satisfaction guaranteed. Same as Last Time.

I am rather surprised about the presence of the Sohne Mannheims. Even in Deutschland, the land where Xavier Naidoo was allowed to start a recording career, they are considered as Schicedrek, and their record is Mulltonne.

Concerning critical analysis, BB leads over EOMS, since it contains more experimental aspects such as the Bulgakov-lyrics of SFTD, and Keith's solo, which in THAT style can ONLY be found there, the 12 or so layers of acoustic guitars on SFM, the Dylan parody on SOTE, Brian Jones on NE, Country Blues in PS etc. etc. Concerning liking, I would not want to miss Happy, Loving Cup or Let It

YCAYGWY should definitively not be dropped. It's a great sing along! The audience loves it, and so do I. Moreover, they should play Life Is Life - they should give it a try, it will be a great sing along and people will love it! And so will I!

IT WON'T TAKE LONG ... before they are able to play it live. In the meantime, we play Satisfaction.
