Hi everybody

I just saw on "Billboard Year End" the chart of the best selling albums in Europe during 2005.

I mention the first 20

1- Green Day ("American Idiot" of course, not their new record)
2- James Blunt
3- Coldplay
4- U2
5- Robbie Williams (Greatest Hits)
6- Divo
7- 50 Cent
8- Michael Blue
9- Keane
10- Gwen Stefani
11- Gorillaz
12- R. Williams
13- The Black Eyed Peas
14- The Rolling Stones
15- Eminem ("Encore")
16- Killers
17- S. Mannheims
18- Shakira
19- Maroon 5
20- Joli

Some more famous acts: Moby #22, Depeche Mode #29, Bon Jovi #30, System Of A Down ("Mesmerize") #31, Bruce Springsteen #32.

I am surprised about the abcence of White Stripes and Franz Ferdinard

I am rather surprised about the presence of the Sohne Mannheims. Even in
Deutschland, the land where Xavier Naidoo was allowed to start a recording career, they
are considered as Schicedrek, and their record is Mulltonne.
