QuoteErik_Snow Jagger could really start a riot at Hyde Park if he says something like "and thank you to all you people behind that fence, back there, for buying the expensive tickets. Maybe you could rattle your jewellery so I could hear you" If they pull the plug on them like they did on Springsteen last year, the riot will start of it's own accord. Ideally just after they lau

QuoteTooTough Quotelmatth8461 Let's just make the most of it while the opportunity is there for us! Lee Lee, I´d like to sign that, but right now I´m totally pissed, because my band that I´ve been following since I was 14 (1982), I´ve seen 47 times and I´ve spent thousands of Deutschmarks, $$$, Pounds and €€€ on, is screwing me big time. I´m still waiting for areply of AEG-Rob and

QuoteIGTBA After it is mostly sold out, we will learn that Bocca Di Lupo is located in Chelsea with bus service t/f Hyde Park, but don't worry, Mr Hallett will ensure you will be taken care of like never before. Yeah, after your meal you get a massage with a happy ending, followed by a Jacuzzi, then get get carried to the gig on your own throne. Hey Bocca Di Lupo is in Soho, after all. I s

Quotestraycatuk QuoteThroughTheLonelyNights I think the Stones do what they want to - especially as long as they have big media reports like......"sold out in 3 minutes....They don´t really care too much about a few "unsatisfied" fans, I´m afraid. And for some legal issues about misleading information they have their lawyers. Didn´t the first layout plan come from their official

Quotebobdylan1258 The Bruce picture from Hyde Park. I was there (a terrible miserable experience, but in context that doesnt matter. and was a ticket agent for the show. The entire show was GA, no fences, no pit, to Tier 1 or 2. So although you make avalid point and locationwise are spot on you are imagining a fence. There was no fence. Really? How come? I thought it was great. Bruce does go

QuoteHis Majesty Upfront for hours and hours, what do people do when they need the toilet? Once I've finished my 'orange juice', I'll piss into the empty bottle and chuck it over into tier 1. Don't worry, I'll screw the top back on first. I'm civilized. Lee

QuoteTopi Food and soft drinks are permitted inside. Alcohol is not. Apart from the miniatures of vodka I'll be pouring into my half-empty bottle of orange juice obviously. It's easy to understand why this rule is in place. They need to make a load of money on the marked-up, watered-down beer because they can't possibly turn a profit on the low entry price they have put on th

Quotestraycatuk Quotelmatth8461 Quotestraycatuk I know exactly how they can get out of this - Set up the Diamond and Golden circles exactly as we were expecting them - Like the regular Bon Jovi set up which incidentally has a small walkway between diamond and golden sections. Hospitality packages of up to £300 had prompted disgruntlement among fans after the concert was announced. But Mr Hallett promised that anyone who has secured the basic £95 ticket will be able to get a ringside view on July 6. “The band wanted the regular ticket-holders to be right at the front of the stage staring at the whites of their eyes, not 200 yards away,” he said. “The people who

Quotesteffiestones My opinion is, if they want to do a second show on the 13th, they must had to have already been announced. I'm afraid there will no be a second show. Why? Sorry, don't follow the logic here. They have only announced the first couple of line-ups so far. There are still four more dates to announce officially. Lee

As I understand it, this is just one of a series of gigs in Hyde Park, with major bands playing the main stage over two consecutive Fri/Sat/Sun slots. Therefore the order would appear to be as follows: 5th July Bon Jovi 6th July Stones 7th July unknown 12th July unknown 13th July Stones 14th July unknown Does it not seem an unreasonable assumption that the stage would be set up for t

QuoteBeast They just tweeted that £95 tix will get you FOS and to ignore the bogus layout plan circulating - the online real plan will come soon. This is a new stage so who knows what it'll look like. Maybe there'll be a kind of pit area with a walkway around that has the GA area at the end of it? Most intriguing, Beast. Believe it when I see it, but I might be hauling myself up

Glastonbury 2010 pic...Oh yes, that's the kind of Glasto I like to remember. 1997 was a mudbath, and it was raining while I was there in 1998 (I actually left early, the only time ever)...but 1999 and 2000 were glorious, maybe my favourite years of the lot. The weather can make or break a festival. Lee

Seeing EC and Florence at the O2 was great, and having Bill on for a couple of numbers was fun for old time's sake...but for me Mick Taylor was the highlight of the show. On the assumption that there are no guests (including Bill) in 2013, maybe this opens up the possibility of MT having a more substantial role? I'm pretty keen them including Fingerprint File in the setlist myself...wou
