Bon Jovi & Take That will probably be affected, but I think the Stones dates are pretty safe. Unless they reschedule it for next year due to 'tax loss' reasons like they did in the 90's! Lee

Yeah, but make sure you've just recovered from cancer, like Jack Bruce. Cream were definitely one of the best bands I've ever seen. Even if they are as old as the Stones. Lee

Fellow Brits, I'm not really interested in watching the Superbowl, but I quite fancy catching the Stones for their 12 minutes. Any rough ideas as to what time we expect this on TV in Blighty? Lee

Glenfiddich, Laophraig, Chivas Regal, all nice. There is a shop in London with some rare stuff, including a bottle from 1928 with a £20,000 price tag. It's been sitting there for quite a while ;-) Lee

Still sold more records than the Stones, though. Look at what they produced,it was good but does it compare to what The Stones have done? Not Even, not even close. A matter of opinion, of course, b

Well, I'm a big Stones fan and totally love Cream (saw them 3 times at the RAH and flew to NYC to see the final gig at MSG). As for which group is better than the other, who cares, it's just personal opinion, but I do have one comment... Eric Claption solo and as a member of Cream are completely different. Most of EC's material leaves me cold. Most good groups are more than th

Both gigs sold out before the support was even announced, the support acts whatever their stature, were just a way of passing the time. I thought the Barbarians were OK, but not a patch on the Stones. Lee

Well, I saw the Knebworth gigs in '79...the first one remains my favourite gig ever to this day! ...even though they certainly were not at their best. Lee

Well, there didn't seem to be any left at £60 when I tried this morning, got 2 max price in Block B, should be OK. Not as good as last time at the arena...but still preferable to most of the other seats. Unless it rains! Lee

If I were you, I'd save it. I've got a couple of memberships; already used one for Wembley and I'm keeping the second one 'just in case' they announce a smaller venue. Surely you can get your money back if you don't use it, anyway? Lee

I seem to recall in 2003 the seats at the front of Twickenham were actually not the most expensive. Does anyone know if this is the case with Wembley next year? Even though Wembley is 'not yet finished' I'm pretty sure they have a good idea of the seating layout already. N.B. I didn't go to Twickenham as I scored a 5th row seat for Wembley Arena. Any info on this befo

Once upon a time (over 25 years ago) The Who were my favourite band. After their slow decline since Moon's demise, I now seriously doubt I would go see them if they were playing at the end of my road. Check out this article on the BBC news site: "The Who are to record a version of their 1965 hit My Generation with McFly to launch a download site." McFly???? Jesus......

No gigs have been announced, but the rumours are for 24/25/26th October at Madison Square Garden. Yes, the Albert Hall tickets were £125 for the top price. All three can still play....and they don't need another 5 people on stage like another 60's band I could think of! Plus all the original members are still there.... <meeeeeooww> Lee P.S. Sorry to hear that, Kahoosier. I remember walking past you guys queuing outside and having very strong doubts as to whether any more tickets would be released. I was in the Astoria last night, for the first time in ages, and although I'm sure it would have been great seeing the Stones there, I can't help thinking that it would not have been much better than the 5th row seat I had at Wem

Sorry if this has already been raised elsewhere, but I can't find an obvious answer. To quote an earlier post: There is a limit of 4 presale tickets per show using your unique passcode. If you buy less than the maximum limit of tickets (4) for one particular show, and the transaction has been completed, the passcode becomes void and cannot be reused for more tickets (even for the

Hey Maverick, Thanks for all this info, very helpful. Having seen them a few times at Wembley Stadium, catching the Stones from the 5th row at Wembley Arena last time was a whole new experience, especially as I was on Keith's side. After that, I wasn't too bothered that I missed out on the Astoria. As for the comments about London being just another gig, remember that becoming the
