QuoteSilver Dagger 02 2nd night - best block A2 Row G seven rows from the front £749. 2 seats available. Very tempting. Not very tempting to me. I bought three tickets for the 7th row five years ago for under £500, including TM fees.

Quotedrbryant I was back near the sound board for the Zeppelin show at the O2, and it remains possibly the most moving concert experience of my life. You must have been near me, then! I was about 10 yards in front of the mixing desk.

Maybe Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden should do a 666 tour...if they haven't already.

Quotegotdablouse Quotelmatth8461 QuoteTomGreen It's now only two weeks to go. I wonder where all these standing tickets are going to go! Teenage bimbos who won't know or care whether it's Keith Richards or Cliff Richard up on stage. But there's no PPV in London is there ? That's a point. Paulywaul's padded bra need not be applied....

Quotetreaclefingers I will concur with his on/off nights as I've been on the receiving end of both varieties. Good luck! I concur, my first Dylan gig was Blackbushe which was brilliant. My second was Earls Court three years later, which was dire (mainly songs about Jesus). Experiences since have wavered between the two, but I'll admit it's probably 7 or 8 years since I last sa

Not unreasonable to think there would be a warm-up in London...and the Indigo2 would be great (saw the Who there a few years back), and kind of 'logical' since they are playing the main gigs next door...

Quotepaulywaul As a matter of interest, have you ever set foot in the uppper tier blocks in the O2 ? Yikes, I nearly got vertigo up there, jeez that is high up there ! Agreed, only been there once, for Muse a couple of years back. Really would prefer to stay down on the lower tier if at all possible, the O2 is worse than the Albert Hall in that respect.

Quoteexhpart I quite like 106 and 107 as they are direct view. Me too...yes, they are right at the back, but not up in the gods...and the O2 isn't that big, not like being at the back of say, Wembley stadium. what gives the O2 it's capacity is all the raked seating way up high.

First one that comes to mind for me is Fool to Cry. No wonder Keef fell asleep on stage playing this snoozefest.

Gazza, did you lose your arms since I saw you last? That must be at least five years ago, if not longer! How do you type nowadays? I don't drive either...not anymore. Added up all the costs and decided it just wasn't worth it anymore. Public transport is good enough for me in London. Lee

QuoteGazza Nope. No interest. Mind was made up the moment I clicked out of ticketmaster a few minutes after 9 am the day the tickets went on sale. Had a price limit, nothing decent was available in that range so it was one of the easiest decisions I've ever made. Cathartic, in fact. A 24 hour trip at short notice - even allowing for the fact I got a very good price on a hotel room becaus

QuoteGazza What about just inside the nearby tube station though? I'm sure they could sell them there. Either way its looking like there could be quite a few empty seats! ...and another case of great minds thinking alike!

Quotepaulywaul Quoteandy js Something else i've been thinking about. If you keep an eye on unsold good seats right up until the day of the gig, note down the seat numbers and sit in em when you get there Jobs a good one Do that routinely, and yes ... it works a treat ! Goddammit, don't tell everyone! That's what I've done a number of times....

Bit of a price discrepancy for tongue tickets on Viagogo. Starts around £900, but ranges up to £175,000. Hmmm...maybe some tongue positions are slightly better than others. 'Tongue in cheek' comes to mind...

PPV question: Is it a reasonable assumption that the promoters are expecting the PPV to underwrite any tickets that don't sell? Are the Stones in for a cut of this as well, or are they getting their pound of flesh and the promoters take the risk of whether these concerts actually turn a profit? Whichever way, it's likely that there won't be too much concern about empty seats at t

Quotebluesinc. it will be released as cd, and maybe as lp with normal conditions.... This reminds me of The Who's Live at Leeds. Released in multiple formats over the years, it finally came out in an expensive deluxe edition with the Live at Hull recordings as a bonus. A couple of years on...and Live at Hull has been released separately. Effectively people (like me) shelled out close to £
