QuoteMelBelli Departing from my normal guitar “programming,” here’s a little video essay making the case that Charlie Watts was NOT a minimalist: great take, thanks. in my own way I posted something on my Insta about this way of celebrating Charlie through the "less is more" easy prop. Also quoted Questlove great to quote just post 78 examples also in my insta pic i choose to

Quotegeorgie48 There will always be whiners, but a true Rolling Stones fan always accepts the choices the band members make... here we go and, with no reason, some fans who feel differently are provoked and insulted, in a thread that, to my understanding, wanted to be just a good vibe thread wishing the best to steve jordan for his new job why is that is beyond my understanding good luck

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotemaumau the astonishing thing for me is not the thought that Mick would probably go on playing with a backing band by the name of the rolling stones but the fact that, judging from what's the overall feel of this thread over Charlie's death, fans are pretty much ready to like and accept that I believe that at the first "ehm what..?" I would probably read

I am not with you about Keith's solo albums with the Winos Doxa, I love Talk is cheap and like Main offender (though, in the latter I find some of what you call "one-track minded") but I agree with you in considering them Keith solo projects, in fact I call them so at the very beginning of my post. I was not comparing Stones and Wino's greatness, that would be no sense, I was

QuoteCousinC "If Brian,Bill, Charlie and me had never been on this planet, Mick and Keith would still have a band that sound exactly like the Rolling Stones". Stu I am afraid that if you're in for a "battle of quotes" from band members about the "stones without charlie" I win hands down but I am not interested in that, because I love them and respect them a

what is so great about Keith Richards solo albums? not that he went so far away from stones sound, he did not. they're great because you hear keith playing with a band that sound so different, with a drummer that sound so different. a great drummer, a very different one from Charlie. Think about a wonderful soul ballad like Hate it when you leave. You can't easily get better than that,

of course its their decision and I will respect that, of course also for me it is the end of the rolling stones and that in no way mean that such musicians as mick keith and ronnie should stop playing hope they all put out music in the future, I will be listening to it, I will buy it and I will buy stones music from the vaults I just take it seriously, no Charlie no Stones just as it would

QuoteJumpingKentFlash Somewhat agree with this, but as you say they’re old. And that is why I think they should have a chance to give a proper farewell. I second that, but one last concert could do it. a tour is a different story, and what will happen next year for the 60th anniversary?
