IMO, Memphis, Dec. 03. What a great place for a show. Of course, I have not been to a bad Stones show, yet. 13 so far, since '69. Some better than others. I think all of us would like to say the last one we attended was the best..........

"I've got my own album to do" by Ron Wood, belongs in everyone's Stones collection. Found myself preferring it over IORR back in '74. Thought it would be great if he joined the Stones, as a 3rd guitarist. When Taylor left, I was delighted when he joined the band. Sobriety kicked his butt at the beginning of the ABB tour but, he seems to be on the rebound.

JJF was not played in Australia in '03. The club show. I believe it was the Enmore? Can't recall the location. They opened with Midnight Rambler.

Black and Blue will always have a special place in my heart. It came out the same month and year my first child was born (a son). I was 22 and boy, did my life change! Bought my first Stones record in '65. Satisfaction! It was a 45 single. Anybody remember them? (I still have it).I think Black and Blue would have been better with 2 more songs. Simon Kirke did not play on the record. Only set in for Charlie, when Charlie cut his arm/hand. Numerous sources mention Charlie injury. I am strickly going on memory here... recall reading it in some magazine back in the '80s, an interveiw with Simon Kirke. His association with the Stones was the reason he sat with them at the 100s club when Charlie was late. Don't think anything with

Chelsea Drugstore! Simon Kirke was also at the sessions (DW). He set in for Charlie while he recuperated from an injury. Kirke also played drums at the show for Stu. Charlie was late due to traffic. I don't think any of Kirke's song have ever made it out, even on boots.

I posted.... hear worst. Meant, heard worst. Need a new keyboard! Still, INXS along with Midnight Oil, are two Aussie bands that I have enjoyed thru the years. Hard for a group to replace a frontman like Michael Hutchence. Can't see U2, Stones, Zeppelin, The Who among others with a new frontman. A new name perhaps? ENXS.........

Baboon Bro! Jim Jarmusch is the correct spelling. As a joke he stated during an interview, that he was part of a semi-secret society called "Sons of Lee Marvin." He also stated that Tom Waits, a singer, was also a member. He has retracted this since Lee Marvin's real son complained. Interesting story.

Baboon Bro! Thanks for the photos of lee marvin. Saw a interview with Jim Jarmarsh the director(Broken Flowers), he mention being part of the Lee Marvin look-a-like club. Can't remember who-else was in it, maybe Tom Waites. Anyway, He was the coolest! Still enjoy his movies. Loved him and Brando together in the classic,"The Wild Ones."

Erik_Snow. Saw Harrison back in '74, in Atlanta. The Dark Horse tour. He had "lost" his voice, rehearsing for the tour. Still thought he was great. Loved his guitar playing. One of the best examples is his inter-action with Clapton on Cloud 9.

Erik_Snow. George Harrison's Death was a blow to me. He's the only one of the Fab Four that I ever saw in concert. Loved his music. Dillard Richardson mentioned Rick Danko and Richard Manuel from the Band. Both truly missed!

Reptile, my point being those who have left us in our life time. As I stated, who do you miss? Maybe you miss Mozart. I miss Don Knotts, but chose only to mention R&R musicians. Besides, it only IORR.

Reptile. Harrison was 58 and had lived a good life. Still, like relatives who leave us, we still miss them. I liked Harrison's last CD Brainwashed.
