Why did OJ move to West Virginia? Someone told him the DNA was all the same there. How are a tornado and a divorce in West Virginia similar? Someone is going to lose a trailer. Karl

Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it. :-) Like Chuck or not, the guitar section is not dependable nor consistent enough to carry the show. I think Chuck (and the horns, and the singers) is Mick's insurance that a professional show will be presented. Which for the m

How about the West Virginian who was on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"? He got the first, one-hundred dollar, question correct. He decided to stop there and take the money. Why did the West Virginia State Police have to take "911" off their cars? People kept stealing them, thinking they were Porsches. How is a girl from West Virginia like the Unabomber?

I loved the story in the Wyman book about how Jagger/Richard took songwriting credit, and publishing, for the first track on Got Live-the crowd chanting "We Want the Stones". These guys didn't miss a trick even back then. LOL Karl

From the US Treasury web site: Secretary John W. Snow will hold a press conference at 2:30 pm EDT on Tuesday, May 17 to discuss the Foreign Exchange Report, which is being released by the Treasury Department at the same time. The press conference will be held at the Treasury Department, 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, DC. It is expected that the Secretary will reveal details of

To compare previous ticket prices in inflation-adjusted US dollars: Multiply your actual ticket price times 1966 5.97 1969 5.27 1972 4.62 1975 3.59 1978 2.96 1981 2.13 1989 1.56 I think its funny that David Crosby, among others, blasted the Stones in 1969 for charging $9 a ticket. That would be (5.27 * 9)=$47.43 in today's money. Anybody remember the prices for the last CSNY

Ross, Have heard it, real good disc. She plays just a little bit too much from her most recent studio album for me (not one of my favs), but otherwise top notch stuff. Like, and agree with, your Crazy Horse comparison. I've seen her a couple of times, and she usually includes more than a couple blues covers in her live show. Lucinda has one of the best voices in rock/country today

At the PC Charlie said that this would be the “last” tour. Maybe he was referring to the group, maybe just to himself. I wonder what keeps Charlie interested in doing these long worldwide tours. He has grandchildren, he’s just recently recovered from a throat cancer, he certainly is no fan of the hotels and the travel, and he doesn’t IMO have the ego of Mick/Keith. Why not just kick back at

I saw Iggy 3 years ago for about $40 (Pittsburgh, US). I thought that his Stooges Europe shows this year are festivals. Maybe that explains? Anyway, if you can afford it, the price is well worth it. His show is incredible, one of the best rock shows I've ever seen. A much better deal than a Stones show for my money. Karl

Hi Bassplayer, Saw the Stones there during Licks 2002. Good sound for a hockey arena. Also, you can go into the club inside before the show and "adjust your attitude". Shidoobee had a big get-together there. We could hear the sound-check from the bar! Karl

Paying about $0.55 per liter here in the US. I know it is much less than in Europe, but is almost double what I was paying two years ago. High prices make you use less, which is a good thing. Karl

Bro: Heard one minute of the new song - thought it sounds hot. I'm anxious as hell to hear the new disc, but just not up for the cost of hearing it live. Just spent $28 this morning filling up my little 4-cylinder. Times is tough Bro! :-) Enjoy it for me! Karl

Feel pretty much the same. I don't want to piss and moan about ticket prices, and the guitar section, etc. etc. I hope everybody who goes has a great time and the Stones rock their world. But...after you've been a few times, and heard your share of boots, it's really not worth going again unless 1) you're seeing an indoor show 2) you've got really good seats, and 3) th

A cool disc is "What's Next to the Moon" by Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters). It is all Bon-era, AC/DC covers done solo acoustically. Sounds awful, but the guy does a tremendous job re-arranging the tunes into bluesy, folky stuff. Really a good disc, includes Riff Raff, Bad Boy Boogie, Love Hungry Man, and If You Want Blood among others. Karl
