I had to laugh at a comment made on the Canadian music video channel over the weekend. They are doing a series on a specific year in music, in this case 1980. I think U2 is a perfect discussion topic, especially when used to point out just how much better the Stones are. They are no more than comparison, and not much at that, but that's the point. Sorry Elmo but I must side with T&A. I saw CCR as a trio and was surprized how there was little missing. Again in the solo Premonition you see how much of it is just John. Also if you ever saw the band you got the feeling it was a one man show anyway (check out the Blue Ridge Rangers CD, he plays it all), which may account for some of the other comments regarding his demenor on other issues.
