in 1990, did anybody think that the Stones would still tour 30 years later? I guess just a few optimistics did. So, whatever happens - always expect the unexpected ...

QuoteMore Hot Rocks This are the reasons I hate the 80's. Shitty cars, stupid cloths, videos taking over music, keyboards replacing guitars bad food, bad politics, I started losing my hair, Dirty Work, my first dog died, and interviews like this. Thanks man, that was my laugh today. Though you're damn right!

There's plenty of audio and video material available from the concerts of the last three decades. Do we really need another From the Vault out of them? Obviously, most users here don't care that much on these and prefer much older material, which is definitely unerstandable. But how about a DVD/BR on the guest spots during that period? We had Bob Dylan, Guns'N'Roses, AC/DC, B

I have never understood the hype on the Ramones. Musically and soundwise they've been nothing more than an average rockband.

QuoteRobberBride QuoteRocky Dijon QuoteDandelionPowderman If Matt played the piano, how did he make the piano sound that way? It sounds old, even for 1971, imo. Not saying it's Nicky, but I always thought it was. It could be Nicky. It just never sounded vintage to my ears. The thing is when I ask an alleged source if Clifford plays on it and he compliments me for working it out and tell

M. Schenker is - unlike his brother - a great guitarist. However, I never liked any of the Scorpions stuff. Overrated like many others, e.g. Kiss, who are the worst of all.

Most of the deaths are over 60 years of age, with other illnesses and reduced resistance. The risk group is thus similar to that of influenza. No one reports the dead of influenza. This corona is at least a good way for the media to sell news and stock prices are falling. Now they are worth of buying That's it!!! All hyterical actions are far exaggerated. C'mon people, cool down!

Our guitarist has played twice with Mick Taylor. The first time they just jammed in a friend's studio in Germany, the second time he joined MT on stage for two songs during a concert in Erfurt/Germany about 10 years ago. MT's manager made the latter possible.

For the Stones, there's no need to change a well-proven setlist. They know what most people want to hear. A big majority of the concert audience are not die-hard Stones fans and expect the warhorses. It's comparable to a visit to the circus. Every tour it's the same. The first two or three concerts feature some songs that we all here find rather interesting, but in the end they

Keith's influence to and standing within the Stones is far more than from a musical point of view. He embodies everything the Stones stand for. It might be true that his musical role on stage has changed since he's suffering from arthrosis. His playing developed more into sort of accompanying contributions after he nailed his riffs at the sons' beginnings. When in older days the b

Quotejbwelda >Altamont serìa un lanzamiento espectacular! I'm not sure, but if that means "Altamont, it ain't never gonna happen", then I agree with you! Honestly, it was the worst day of their lives, or close to it. No one official is going to want to celebrate that with any kind of release. Then again, there was Gimme Shelter. So maybe... jb Google Translat

I'm still hoping for releases from 1973 (Europe), 1969/70, El Mocambo and some Urban Jungle concert. Or even a "Berlin 1990" with snippets from both Urban Jungle (June 06) and Steel Wheels (August 13/14) concerts ... Paris '76 is also on its way, I guess

It might be comparable to classic music. Although it's some hundreds of years old, people still listen to Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Verdi etc. The same will apply to bands such as Stones, Beatles, Doors, Who, ABBA … all time classics never to be completely forgotten.

The days it was released no one would argue how many live recordings would be to come (incl. video material). Until this day we had the live albums from the 1966, 1969, 1975/76 and 1981 tours (officially). Hence, it was great to have a new live record back then. I very much liked the album - better than I do today. Friends of mine even bought a giant poster of the album cover that remained on m
