What events that start in the month of May have been canceled or postponed? I get they start rehearsing 3ish weeks before the first date, but I think we have a couple weeks till an official announcement is made.

I keep seeing Green Bay being mentioned in this thread. Has anyone ever been there? It doesn’t sound like it because you would know that there isn’t a damn thing to do there; it’s a town of 100k who only have a football team. The entire population of brown county is 250k. It seems like the stones schedule cities where there’s also a lot for them to do during off days. Green Bay sure as hell isn&#

A friend of mine is close with Quint Davis, and she told me that he said the Stones are going to try again for Jazz fest. I'm not sure how much truth there is behind this but we all love rumors don't we?? I can conclude by saying that I believe that they have for sure been offered to play the fest again.

Whats great about the big outdoor stadiums is that they can really blast the sound super loud.If you were at the NOLA show in July you probably noticed that the sound was turned down because it was inside. I was able to easily talk to the person next to me where at other outdoor stadiums id have to scream in someones ear. I really like hearing them as loud as possible. Also we get to hear sou

QuotePietro GHS had the superior producer -- Jimmy Miller. When listening to IORR I sometimes get the impression that the novice producers were learning on the job. Sometimes the Glimmer Twins didn't glimmer. Off topic: Somebody needs to do a thorough appreciation of what Jimmy Miller meant to the Rolling Stones. It's no coincidence that the Rolling Stones' golden age coincid

Keep in mind this is an NFL stadium not a Rolling Stones stadium. The Dolphins first game is Sunday 9/8. It's a blessing we even got this tour in this summer with stadium availability. The NFL isn't going to want them to play a concert mid week after the Hurricane when Dolphins opening day is only a few days later. I think it's Saturday or nothing.

I think everything will end up being fine. They will sneak the show in and it will be a great night. The difference between this one and NOLA is that the show was rescheduled to allow the storm to pass. They will probably have a nice window to get this Miami show in before the hurricane. Take everything on here with a grain of salt unless BV says it. If I had listened to some people on here f

Quotekeefriff99 Another thing to keep in mind is that it seems like Keith is smoking a LOT...LOT...of weed lately. He had a massive spliff in his hand when he took a photo with Peter Wolf before the Boston gig. In the grand scheme of things, smoking weed is hardly a huge concern for Keith, but it could dull his perceptions on stage and make him more spaced out...as opposed to coke, when he

Lots of good input everyone and friendly discussion, I have seen many threads turn in to heated arguments, glad this one isn't! Just for the record I started this thread to hear people’s thoughts. I saw amateur fans saying “they are seriously concerned about him” which I think is a bunch of crap. So I want to hear what the real stones fans have to say! My mom and dad have seen every version of the band and every tour since 1964. They think he’s doing great and an inspiration to everyone nearing their 70s

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with aging and slowing down. His guitar playing has evolved and simplified over the years. No matter what, he delivers a great show every time.

I see people on IORR & facebook saying that something might be wrong with Keith. Some said he doesn't look like his normal self. Also heard a rumor that he may have had some sort of flu bug for Chicago #1 I personally think his playing is the best it has been since they came back in 2012. I think he's moving around less in order to focus on delivering good guitar playing.

Ok you guys don't have to post links proving stuff like "ohh on this night he was in the wrong key" or "you must not know about guitar playing if you think blah blah blah" I didn't see the 7/7 video, yeah it's a little rough and sluggish. All I know is that I was at the 6/25 and 7/3 shows, his licks on IORR were pretty good and tasteful. No need to post the l

The song live has tons of great Chuck Berry licks in it. When it comes to Keith, you live for those Chuck Berry licks: it’s the roots of his guitar playing. He has stepped up the solo for this tour too. You must not know anything about guitar playing if you think he sucks on it. It’s always interesting when a non musician gives his or her take on a live performance.
