QuoteTumblinDice76 Guests have really dropped off over the years. Gary Clark Jr is fine but Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran-pass. We had James Bay at Twickenham, and Florence from Flo and the Machine at London Stadium 2. James was fine but Flo ...naah Liam of course was far too big an ego to come on at London Stadium 1 despite a fine support set

I quite like the OT threads. There's not too much happening right now besides Ronnie's social life and US tour rumours so it's hardly surprising is it? By the way BV said this is not OT but I think that's a Norwegian sense of humour coming through.

Wow this thread went off at a tangent. I also think that being Mick Jagger's less successful younger brother must have some advantages for him. And I'm positive they have a great relationship. This is blood we're talking about

Quotekeithsman Chris doesn't strike me as competitive or ambitious, he is happy i would say, perhaps happier than his brother with all the money and fame, and probably sleeps sounder at night never having to worry about MeToo movement and such like, being a Stone is a target, was it Ronnie that had to pay off a hair stylist a million pounds or something over harassment. Its not always easy w

Lotta love here for the invitation artwork for BB. The toilet is fine but it will just always be the RSVP cover that brings back the memories. And then opening out to the gatefold and the gloriously debauched banquet scene within. Memories ...

I remember a bit of film where Chris is driving into A Bigger Bang show maybe a day before the gig - during build up - and he has all the right passes and is accompanied by an older blues veteran. They go all the way in to the inner sanctum and Chris is very warmly greeted by Mick (cameras rolling admittedly) and then Mick and Chris and the blues veteran rehearse something for the next day's

This year I saw the Stones 3 times in London, 42 years after first seeing them. It just occurs to me that last night I beat my own record by seeing Kokomo - still with some original members - at The Jazz Cafe some 43 years after first seeing them. Just saying...

I recall something about Elizabeth Jagger had the K D Lang album Ingenue and playing it a lot and the possibility that the tune seeped into Mick's subconscious. It's a catchy song, Constant Craving I mean. I remember being extremely surprised to see K D Lang was hanging out with the Stones lol.

Quotegrzegorz67 Quoteglimmertwinz Quotegrzegorz67 Quoteglimmertwinz I remember Barcelona last year, and it was a nightmare. Ridiculous waiting times and checks. Most gigs festivals that I have been to, I have benefited from cheap tickets through the scalpers. I turned up early and it was fine. A bit slow, but with patience, fine. My bladder almost exploded!!! lol There was a swimming

They - Culture Club - are in the middle of a pretty substantial US and Canada tour. All original members resolved their differences and Boy George is still a great singer. Can't say I'm a big fan but those 80's singles really do stand the test of time!

82 to 89 ...Positive that Mick regrets that his solo career floundered but I'm sure he doesn't regret trying hard. Also Mick doesn't seeem to be a "looking back" kind of guy. It does seem like a long lay off between 2007 and 2012 but then again both Licks and ABB were long and maybe gruelling tours at their ages. And of course Keith had his coconut tree incident Ronnie hi
