Is this turning into a ticket prices complaints thread? I haven't seen them for 5 years since Hyde Park 1 in 2013 so I'm really looking forward to seeing them again 3x as I'm off to London Stadium twice and Twickenham once. Its costing me £300 for all 3 gigs. I think thats reasonable. With any luck it'll be complete chaos like Rome 2007 and if we want to get to the front we wi

I feel a bit sorry for Mick. Charlie always gets a laugh when he says he doesn't know which songs are on which album and he never listens to the Rolling Stones ...I think Mick's been listening to Charlie and thought he'd say the same thing.

I'm going to all 3 London gigs and must say these support acts are terrific. Don't know much about Florence and the Machine but pleased with James Bay and Liam Gallagher

QuoteHairball I would say that from Beggars to It's Only Rock 'n Roll there's absolutely no filler (except maybe Short and Curlies), but that's just my opinion based on those albums being embedded in my brain as full albums. Black and Blue has some filler, while Some Girls doesnt. Emotional Rescue has filler, while Tattoo You doesn't. After that, all albums have more

QuoteSteinschlag Quotejohnnythunders To really recreate the Stones experience we should have tickets whose prices go up and down for no apparent reason, a 4 hour wait to buy online and Lucky Dips that could result in you being placed anywhere in the Hope and Anchor... Maybe we could try to create a pit area in there The Hope and Anchor I remember was definitely a pit! No seriously a great li

It's very silly but I remember exactly paying £6 for a £3 face value ticket for Leicester in 1976. Seems like a bargain

I'm guessing solo doodling which may (hopefully) result in another "Lucky Man" Ronnie - especially a clean Ronnie - is a creative and busy guy. Long may it continue.

I think it will probably end - like Zeppelin - with a whimper not a bang. I mean 1 of the 4 principles will be too ill (or even die) and finally this juggernaut will cease to roll when they can't get insurance

I think Mick has already said they plan to dust off a couple of "rarely played" songs a la Dancing With Mr D but I'd be mightily surprised if they play something that hasn't been released at all (yet)

Quotestereomanic Quotesyrel People's views of whether sales are strong and weak reflects their prejudices/assumptions from before the process started. We have no meaningful data to draw conclusions from. Also, remember from a promoter's point of view, selling out quickly is bad: selling out on the day of the show, with the highest prices the market can stand, is their best result.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteSilver Dagger I've read somewhere that he had an argument over songwriting credits with Mick and Keith and when they said no to his demands he began wanting out. Ironically, it was on Till The Next Goodbye he thought he would get songwriting credits.. Thought this was Carly Simon's song? Nicked by MJ

Yes but by the time May comes it will have been very nearly 5 years since they played Glastonbury and the 2 Hyde Parks. Also Glastonbury was already sold out before the Stones were even announced. Plenty of pent up demand here means they can sell out 8 stadium gigs.

Used to have a subscription to NME and it would thump through the letterbox on a Thursday morning in 1973 and for 5 years afterwards. I remember those album reviews introducing those amazing 70's albums...Horses ...The Clash ...I could go on. Sadly missed

Quotejusteillusion Quoteslewan well, as I mentioned before: When the rumors of the UK tour came up I had the feeling that there might be too many shows in the UK. To sell out all these shows 1 in 165 Britons has to buy a ticket… it's not just the British who come!! And plenty of people going more than once

I've got to agree with yorkshirestone, my HP ticket was also £95 and I am content with £90 at London Stadium and same again at Twickenham Not too bad. I have paid more when I was flush with cash including $450 at MSG 2006 and £250 at O2 in 2007, but this will be fine. I'm looking forward to those enormo-screens, even if I can't look Mick in the eyes

QuoteDartfordRenegade Quotesarahunwin QuoteDartfordRenegade Quotelenurb QuoteDartfordRenegade Phew 3 tickets in the Gold Circle for Twickenham! What a price ! I know it's a lot of money but my son will pay for his own ticket so that helps. I was hoping for PIT tickets but not going to pay the VIP package prices will only pay face value for ticket only. Will take my chances maybe with
