We should never have been down in the Championship, a team that can get 50,000+ in the second tier deserves much better management. Having said that, Rafa didn't bale out; he stuck to the task at hand and got us back where we belong. Congratulations too to Chris Hughton and Brighton, Chris is a class act.

Reminds me of Wolfmother. I'm suspicious of the kids voice (too good to be true), any live material?

QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa I just found out the red one is in "50", the Stones' anniversary book... The blue one, unfortunately, isn't. They're GREAT, aren't they?! Could look at them for hours... There is a reproductionn of the blue poster in the Super Deluxe version of Grrr

Quotespikenyc This is what should really gross you out about Coachella. You cant blame Paul for this. Unfortunately this is what social media and millenials have done to this festival. The linked article is from from 2014, although I doubt much has changed. However, when I saw who wrote it I stopped reading: Bob Lefsetz is a whiny wannabe hipster troll.

Just got back from the store. I managed to snag the last one at my local Ollie's, As others have said they aren't a mail order operation - more of a pile it high, sell it cheap place. I think they're only on the East coast. The box set was shrink wrapped but the barcode had been struck through with a sharpie. Nice for $10.

I was sorting out the recycling this morning when something caught my eye. . . check out the bottom centre of page 1. Ollies Flyer Ollies is a chain of discount/salvage stores in the US. I guess they overestimated how many of us would pay $50+ for the Hyde Park set. I'm going to see if I can pick one up: for $10 I'm sure the book is nice.

Well worth seeing. I caught Albert and his band in a tiny restaurant/club last week in Richmond VA (Tin Pan). The Country Boy has still got it -Though I wish he wouldn't let his keyboard player take so many solos! Albert's too much of a gentleman !

I've still got the '82 UK tour jersey with the dragon on the front and the UK dates with the Wembley towers on the back. My youngest daughter proudly wore it at the Raleigh ZIPcode tour show "Dad, did this really fit you?"

Just finished Bill Wyman's scrapbook - I bought it on-line earlier this year and a family member brought it over. An excellent read; the Stones didn't play as big a part as I'd expected. All in all I thought it was a good piece of British social history, starting off with the WW2 blitz. The best music biog I read this year was "I'll sleep when I'm Dead" writt

Just got back from the movies. Well made documentary, really liked "Los Rolingas" and of course Country Honk. But what kind of movie house doesn't sell orange soda? I was looking forward to a Nuclear Waste. . . .

Thanks for the information regarding the Nobby Clark book: I've always avoided buying the book due to the lousy Amazon reviews. But I just checked and the book is being sold off cheap -picked it up fo

I just got an E-mail from Eagle Rock promoting the movie. I clicked on the link to "Fathom Events" and there was zero, nothing, nada Stones related there. The event calendar had nothing listed for the date posted in the E-mail. Can't these people talk to each other and get their shit straight?

Finally getting back to their roots. I haven't looked forward to a Stones release this much for a long, long time. I think I'll be buying the vinyl edition, which comes with a digital download card (FLAC?)

I was there last night at Virginia Beach and it certainly wasn't a River show. The first ten songs came from his first 2 albums: Greetings From Asbury Park and The Wild , The Willing & the E Street Shuffle. He started out solo on piano with "For You", the rest of the set was: 2. Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street? 3. It's Hard to Be a Saint in the City 4. Growin'

I thought he was doing The River in its entirety on this tour, that's how it was billed. I'm going to the VA Beach show on Saturday - I'd rather see the whole of the River than 4 hours of covers and obscurities.

Got to admit that I was fairly late to the MP3 scene, I've had an Ipod video for about 10 years now. When the hard drive died I updated it to a 240 GB disk (from 80 GB ). I've also replaced the battery a couple of times. If you're reasonably handy, working on Ipods isn't that difficult and there are plenty of YouTube videos to help. If you don't feel confident enough

A few years ago I experienced an interesting twist on this subject at a Stones show! We were at the ABB tour show in Charlottesville's Scott Stadium. Some bozo called in a bomb threat during the show. We were in the on stage boxes that night, Mick announced what was going on and the band left the stage (and the stadium - we saw them leave) The entire stage area was evacuated while a bomb

One of the girls in the office told me about it yesterday. Of course when I tried to check out my account the servers were swamped (Not Ticketmaster. . . ) I took another look today, apparently I have 14 sets of $2.25 vouchers and 16 pairs of lawn tickets. Although the listed shows didn't have anything appealing within a reasonable distance.

The size difference could be explained by the source of the paper. Most of the world uses the Ax or By designation (where X and y are numbers) and the paper area is a fraction of a square metre. Whereas in the USA paper sizes are in X inches x Y inches, designating the length of the sides. For comparison A4 is pretty close to the US 8.5" x 11" size A3 is close to the US 17" x

Not sure if I'd call Old Peculier "bitter" but it is an awesome pint. On your next visit to the UK you may want to try going off the beaten path and visit Masham in the Yorkshire Dales where Old Peculier is brewed. There are two world class breweries in the village: Theakstons (maker of Old Peculier) and Black Sheep (also owned by a mwmber of the Theakston family) who make the fa
