I was in pit 1 along the rail with my mask on the entire time. No problems, but for a while there was something going on nearby with Security guys looking very intimidating at some fans. Maybe that’s what was going on with you. That is really unacceptable.

Could not get a tow truck. Gave up at 1:30 and took an Uber to an airport hotel. Checked in $$$ and got to sleep at 2:30. Now have to try to get a tow today and then find a way to get back home to San Diego County. This is getting to Beine expensive concert! It was a great concert. Loved the set list. Loved the many fun interactions between the band.

Is anybody who was at the LA concert reading this form right now? If so, I am stuck in the stadium parking lot because my car won’t start. Some massive problem with the brake system. I am waiting to get towed. I don’t live in LA and I don’t know anybody in LA so this is a bad situation for me and I’m at a little bit of a loss as to what to do. Thanks

My shows are coming up soon, both LA’s and Vegas. While I am looking forward to the concerts, I am of course sad about Charlie, but I am also going to miss my Stones family. Over the years, I have found great friends that I always see during Stones tours. Some from Europe, Mexico and other parts of the States. But for my upcoming shows, none of my Stones family will be coming. The Europeans can’t

So listening to just a few minutes of poor cell-phone recordings, and specifically concentrating on the drumming, yes, it was loud hard boom boom boom. It was very different. But when I go to the concerts, I plan to listen to the music as a whole, and not concentrate on the drumming. I hope to enjoy hearing my favorite songs played live once again. I will ache for Charlie, but I will enjoy Mick a

Only 495 people ahead of me in the queue at 10 o'clock. By 10:02, I was selecting my pit ticket. Seemed like not a lot of demand this time around.

First the large group bow. Then Mick, Keith and Ronnie bow. Then a picture of Charlie on ALL 4 screens, with Mick, Keith and Ronnie turning to bow to Charlie. And the crowd will chant CHARLIE, CHARLIE, CHARLIE for a very long time. Many of us will cry a fountain of tears.

Buddy Guy just postponed his tour. Was supposed to see him September 7 at the Belly Up. I am relieved. He is in his 80s and should be extra careful.

I just watched, for the first time, the video of Matt Lauer (filling in for Bob Costas) interviewing Charlie Watts. It was quite lovely to hear Charlie give such a long interview. What really struck me was what he said when asked about Bill Wyman leaving the band. Lauer asked Charlie how hard it would be to “pick up and move on” without Bill and Charlie replied: “Pick up and move on, oh, that’s

Charlie Watts, best drummer with the best rock and roll band in the world. I love you and will miss you and will remember you and keep you in my heart forever. You were the glue that kept the Stones together. I admired your talent, your kindness, your thoughtfulness, your smile, your humility, your loyalty, your faithfulness and your wonderful dry sense of humor. You were truly one of a kind.

All the lovely posts here, the photographs, the links to videos and articles, all the tributes to Charlie, they all provide some comfort, and I am so grateful for this wonderful forum filled with so many people with such love for our favorite band. Growing up, I fell hard for the Stones. My friends liked the Stones, but not in the all-consuming way that I did. As an adult, again, none of my f

As for what happens now, it is up to Mick, Keith and Ronnie to decide what they do or don’t want to do and what they should or shouldn’t do. It is up to their lawyers to advise them of what they can or cannot do. It is not up to me or anyone else on iorr to tell them what to do or not do. When I first heard Charlie would not be on this tour, I was disappointed but I felt I could still enjoy t

QuoteHairball I saw the Hives open for the Stones at the Stockholm stadium and arena shows '03 up front ceneter for both, and they were explosively fantastic - a non-stop ball of energy. Wish they would have opened at the Cirkus (theater) show as well, but instead the average Hellacopters opened. Not sure why they're touring in those "corona-zones" in the south, but hop

While I am extremely disappointed that Charlie won’t be on this tour, and while I do believe him to be essential to the Stones, I will still go to see Mick and Keith and Ronnie play. I will miss Charlie. I will be thinking of him during the entire concert. I miss Bobby every time they play Brown Sugar. Karl does a fine job, but Bobby is irreplaceable. Does that mean they should never play Brown S

A longer quarantine if I test positive. It may be a stupid risk, but I have never been rational when it comes to the Stones, and since I can’t do Europe in 2022, this may well be my last time seeing the musical loves of my life. I may skip Buddy Guy depending on how delta is doing in September. There is still time before LA and Vegas for me to change my mind if everything goes south in the interi

Contractually they probably have to continue this tour without Charlie. When Entwhistle died, The Who continued the tour. At the time I thought they were awfully cold-hearted, but contractually, they didn’t have the luxury of mourning and stopping the tour.

I have to admit I am a bit uneasy about going, but I have trust in my vaccinations, so I am going. However, I am not looking forward to quarantine after the shows until I can get tested. I take care of my 91 year old parents and I do not want to risk giving them COVID. They are vaccinated, as am I, but the vaccines are not 100%, so I will be self-quarantining after the concerts. The big prob

It certainly won’t be the same without Charlie, but his health is most important. Take the time to recuperate, Charlie, and we hope to have you back soon! We love you!

My mother’s physician has an 11 year old son who is not yet eligible to be vaccinated since he is under 12. So the doctor WEARS A MASK AT HOME to help protect his son. The doctor must wear a mask all day at work, and then he wears a mask at home. Yet so many people are outraged because they were asked to wear a mask while shopping. People want to benefit from herd immunity, but refuse to help cre
